Latitudes Tavern — Restaurant in Alpena

I always have a lot of fun when I'm at Lattitudes Tavern.

A must: Take "Jack Cab" Taxi Service for everyone's safety.

And like any tavern, be ready to ignore a few attitudes at Lattitudes.

But tread cautiously, this is the only time in my life where someone asked me if I do drugs. Then, I was informed by the locals that the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (H.U.N.T.) works the bars in Northeastern Michigan (heavily in the city of Alpena) looking to set people up for a drug purchase/arrest.

They are very aggressive, large in number, and will not leave you alone.

That is how desperate they are to keep their jobs. By using your hard earned money to keep their "Huge Law Enforcement Machine" operating.

That is, regardless of how bad the current local economy appears to be for everyone else.

The owner is a class act.

It's a great place to catch the game on the tube and ignore the usual drama that follows with being in a bar crowd.

Sat there for an hour and didn’t even get a menu or even a simple “how are you”.. I wouldn’t go back, and I live right down the road. One worker is not enough on weekends! Just wanted a birthday drink and food, but I guess I got lucky with not eating here since there’s so many bad reviews...
