Downtown Alpena, Michigan — Attraction in Alpena

It's not a big city, but it's really pretty to walk through. You got your local winery and local hipster food place that will be a bit overpriced but it's decent food. The coffee shop down the block has a very woodsy-vibe to it. There's an ice cream shop on the corner as well! There's a Mexican joint that recently re-opened downtown and it's pretty sweet xD A pizza buffet past the bridge, also very woodsy feels. I could go on but you should check it out yourself. Most people don't know about this place unless they have a reason to be in Alpena. Tourist shops and bars. Not open on Sundays or evenings after 7. No outdoor seating except part of bar seating. Very small area & few shops. Many empty storefronts. No public restrooms. No transport to nearby areas such as marina or marine museum, and very long walk there with no benches. No pharmacy, no convenience store. Locals...
