Our visit to Cactus Cantina Tacos and Tequila in Alpharetta was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, lively atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The food was amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We tried a variety of tacos, and each one was a unique experience of bold, fresh ingredients that kept us wanting more. The cocktails were also a standout—beautifully crafted and delicious, with a great variety that catered to every taste. The drinks were balanced perfectly, and you could tell a lot of thought went into each recipe. They really elevated the whole experience. But what made our visit truly exceptional was our server, Erika. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Erika was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were her top priority all night. She had great recommendations and knew just what we’d like, adding a personal touch that made everything even better. We felt truly taken care of, and it’s clear she’s amazing at what she does. We will definitely be back soon, not only for the delicious food and incredible cocktails but also because of Erika’s fantastic service. She made our night special, and we can’t wait to see her again. Cactus Cantina has gained some loyal customers—highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing Mexican food, refreshing cocktails, and outstanding service. Thank you, Erika, and the...

If i could give it 0 stars i would!! I attempted to make a reservation online but could not because it clearly stated that parties less than 8 cannot reserve a table. I got to the restaurant at 7 and was placed on the waiting list, which i had no problem with. I should have know there was going to be an issue when the party that was seated outside had to keep coming inside to see when a waiter would tend to them..smh! Anyway..me and my guest sat inside to wait for 40 minutes or more and notice people walking in with a party of 4 and getting seated RIGHT AWAY! I instantly asked what was going on and the hostess said they have a reservation and i asked how when online it says no reservation can be made with less than 8 and she stated they called ahead..This needs to be added to your google search reservation option because this very misleading to potential customers! BUT the thing that really frustrated me was when a couple came in after us, was placed on the same waiting list as us but was seated before us! I think the waiter knew them because he himself kept coming up and speaking with them. Plus..there where people leaving and tables available and we still could not be seated. This was such a waste of my time and its trash how they conduct the waitlist. I would not recommend this place unless you know the staff there or you regularly dine there...seems like thats the only way to get...

Cute little restaurant with some fun decor. Came in on a Saturday evening around 8pm with a friend and we had about a 30 minute wait. I ordered the Wet Burrito with chicken and I loved it. My friend got the chicken fundito and said it was very good as well. She drank a house Margarita (said it was good). I ordered the Margarita Flight (comes with 4 small Margarita varieties that are pre-chosen by the bar. It’s $30 for this flight. I asked for mine to be on-the-rocks. The waiter accidentally brought out the frozen flight. I reminded him that I ordered on the rocks. He immediately took it back, and brought out a new one in a few minutes. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the quality thereafter (was the bartender annoyed?) because they didn’t taste alcoholic to me at all. The drinks were overly sweet and hard to drink due to the syrup or sugar. I was worried that the entire flight would be too much for me to handle, but ironically enough, I made myself try and finish each drink and never even felt a buzz. For $30, I was a bit disappointed. Although, I didn’t take the tequila shot and am wondering if I was supposed to pour it into the drinks myself?. Either way, it was cute and fun to try. I enjoyed the overall experience and would probably give this restaurant 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the disappointing Margaritas (which are the...

Was passing through Alpharetta, searched Google for "best margarita" and chose this place based on popularity. Nice, open interior, though our booth seat had seen better days with rips on the seat and stains on the back cushions. Service was prompt. We did get chips & salsa and ordered a small queso dip. The cup of salsa was only about a third full so we had to ask for more. We asked our server's recommendation for margarita and ordered two Top Shelf Margaritas. They had nice flavor, but were pretty average, did not taste much of the Tequila, "top shelf" or otherwise. I ordered the Seafood Chimichanga. It only had 5 smallish shrimp & 1 scallop, and had the bell peppers I'd requested be omitted, but otherwise it was very tasty. My husband ordered the 3-item combo, choosing a burrito, taco & enchilada and enjoyed everything. The margaritas aren't priced on the menu, but we were somewhat surprised that the bill showed them to be $15 each. Also, the small queso that's $5.50 on the menu was billed $6.99. The total bill before tip was $68.56. Overall, the food was very good, and if we're in the area again, would likely return, but probably not order the margarita. Definitely not the "Top Shelf" one.

Let me put all y’all on to our favvvv Mexican place in Alpharetta!! This place is probably top 3 for us in terms of our favorite places to go eat in Alpharetta. I found it one day on Instagram because an influencer had posted about their margarita flights. We decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did!! They have the best margaritas!! They don’t skimp on the alcohol, but they also make them incredibly smooth so it’s not like you’re just drinking straight tequila. Their mix is house made, and you can definitely tell it is. It’s absolutely delicious. The margarita flight is a great option if you want to try all the different marg creations they’ve made that week. We go here mainly for the pitchers of margs, but they also have super yummy food!! The salsa is A1 and they bring you two different kinds, chipotle and spicy. My favorite entree is the Quesabirria tacos. They are mouthwatering. I’ve yet to find better ones!! This place is just a super great find, off the beaten path. We bring all of our friends and family to this place, and they have left glowing reviews as well!! It’s a must go to place!! 200/10.
