Alf's Restaurant — Restaurant in Alta

This is for sure my favorite lodge up at Alta. I tried the daily special which was a bowl of Thai Red Curry with rice and was super impressed. The only gripe I have with the experience are the high prices which are pretty much guaranteed if you come up skiing. I'd totally recommend the curry if you see it on the menu but since it's a special I have no idea if it will be up there again. Other than the curry I really like the beef chilli in a bread bowl and the hot chocolate. Would totally consider coming up here if you get hungry...

[updated] It's all fine tasting but really $15 for huge [was large] serving of fries and $15 for a hamburger? Admittedly a burger is $16.50 at other resorts. I'll update fry data when I compare the size/cost of fries at other resorts. The bigger restaurant is plus, and handles the crowds of holidays better. Not so the line to get food. This is a great location mid mountain with amazing views no matter where you are sad there are double hike windows of spectacular views of the time out in all around it’s surprising of how many people can fit easily into this location food and beverages. The staff were second there was super super friendly and very very welcoming to families and large groups.
