Worstttt customer/food experience I’ve ever had!! DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE! I ordered food online through a third party company called Pardon My Cheesesteak and when I arrived to pick up my food (at Toojays) it wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my food to be ready. When my food was finally brought to me I didn’t get no apologies for the wait. I get home and all of my food was made COMPLETELY wrong. One of my sandwiches I asked for no onions and it was made with onions. My fiancé has a severe onion allergy and couldn’t even eat his sandwich so I decided to go back to the restaurant which is 20 mins from where I live to go get my food remade. When I arrived at the restaurant the manager took 10mins to even come address the situation. I informed the manager of the wrong order and he apologized and stated he would remake it the right way. I then waited for another 25mins to get my food remade incorrectly AGAIN! When my food was brought to me the second time I informed the hostess that my food was again made wrong she got really standoffish with me and began raising her voice with me and being extremely rude. The employee and I then got into a yelling match which brought me out of character. The manager finally came back up to the front and also began being extremely rude with me, siding with the employee. I asked for a refund and he told me he could not give me one. I’ve worked in multiple restaurants and the number one rule has always been “the customer is always right.” This staff needs to be retrained and re-educated on customer service. My experience was unacceptable and I will never return to...

If it were possible to grant more than five stars, I would, hence the six-star rating out of five. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at TooJay's Deli in Altamonte Springs recently, and to say the experience was merely excellent would be an understatement.
Our server, Lucas, was a stand-out star. Despite our endless queries and our unconventional dinner order, Lucas navigated the evening with grace and patience, wearing a smile that never waned. It's not often you come across such unwavering dedication to customer service - Lucas is undoubtedly a true asset to the TooJay's team.
Our meal was peculiar, to say the least, but that didn't phase Lucas at all. His understanding of the menu and his willingness to accommodate us only enhanced our experience. His ability to maintain his composure and professionalism amidst our unique requests truly set a new benchmark for extraordinary service.
The food, as always, was superb - a testament to TooJay's consistent delivery of delicious meals. But it was Lucas who truly made our visit memorable. His exceptional service turned what could have been a complicated dining experience into a delightful evening.
To anyone considering a visit to TooJay's Deli in Altamonte Springs, expect to be treated like family. Especially if you're lucky enough to have Lucas as your server.
Thank you, Lucas, for making our dining experience a six-star affair. We are not the easiest of customers, but you handled us with the utmost respect and patience. TooJay's Deli, you've got a gem in Lucas.
Until our next visit - which...
Read moreI am going to start with a compliment. The chicken noodle soup is amazing. We-only 2 people spent $52 for lunch. The meal definitely was not worth my hard earned money. I got the soup and salad. The salad was horrible. By far the worst salad I have ever had. I had the strawberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette. I added chicken for an extra charge. You could tell the chicken wasn’t even made the same day. If it was cooked there. It was dry and discolored. The grapes in the salad were subpar. I ordered a side of potato salad. I just wanted to try it. It was good. But a quarter cup size for $3 was not worth it though. My husband got the pastrami burger. He said it was ok. He got one small slice of pastrami on the whole burger. I’m thinking if you order a pastrami burger that you would get more pastrami than that. Especially being named that. The bread of the bottom was completely soggy. So, he was wondering how long his burger had been sitting there to be picked up. The waitress did not bring ketchup or any condiments whatsoever after being asked. I only got one glass of water and never received a refill. My husband received one refill of his soda. We ordered dessert to go. The 15 count box of black and white cookies. I’m wondering if they were expired Bc they were so dry. I wouldn’t know if they were expired or not because there was no expiration date on the box. I feel like they were really trying to cut every corner and save money, at the same time charging way too much for awfully made food. The only reason I would ever go back is for a to go order of chicken...
