Are they kidding? When I walked in I thought what a nice looking Wendy's restaurant. There was a big sign inside: "At Wendy's, we're all about serving up fresh food, even if it means going the extra mile. When you walk through our doors, we do what we can to make everyone feel at home because our family extends through your community." Dave I guess garbage can be considered fresh too. The receipt I got at the restaurant ask me to give them an honest review for a $2 discount on my next visit. I decided to save them the $2 and write a Google review instead. Years ago, before there was an internet, I went to a Wendy's on 17-92 in Longwood. I was at the drive-through and saw an employee at the grill spit on a spatula and I just drove off. For a long time I liked their spicy chicken sandwich, "A juicy chicken breast marinated and breaded in our unique, fiery blend of peppers and spices to deliver more flavour inside and out, cooled down with crisp lettuce, tomato, and Heinz mayo. It's the original spicy chicken sandwich, and the one you crave." but I stopped eating them when they turned into an oversized spicy chicken nugget. My last visit to another Wendy's a few weeks ago I got a pretty decent hamburger so I wanted to try it again. So I went the other day at this location for another attempt at their burger. The person who gave it to me, first opened it up before putting it in the bag said "this burger has no cheese on it". I told her that was mine, I ordered it that way and she rolled her eyes and handed it to me. What I ended up with was over-cooked cardboard on a bun. I brought it back to the person who gave it to me and I told her this was not acceptable and she says, "that's the way they make all their burgers and that they don't make them any other way". So I decided to just get my money back. The manager came over and told me they were gonna make a fresh one for me. I thought that was all they sold but I gave it another try. The next one was not much better. The double burger was chopped up and tasteless the toppings I got did not help. I tossed it and I am now done with Wendy's for good. I see now why they have closed so...
Read moreA Terrible Experience at Wendy's - The Manager's Unpleasant Behavior
I had always been a fan of Wendy's and their delicious burgers, but my recent experience at one of their branches has left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. I'm writing this review to share my terrible experience and to warn others about the unprofessional conduct of the manager.
Upon entering the restaurant, my partner and I were immediately greeted by the unpleasant scent of raw food. Despite being early in the afternoon, the place was far from clean, with dirty tables and floors, as well as food debris scattered around.
We waited in line for several minutes to place our order, only to be met with the manager's rude demeanor. He seemed to be in a terrible mood and snapped at us for asking simple questions. His condescending tone was both unprofessional and uncalled for.
After placing our order, we waited for it to arrive, but the manager's attitude didn't improve. When we asked about the status of our food, he rolled his eyes and complained about how busy they were. Despite the long wait, our food was far from perfect. My burger was overcooked and dry, while my partner's fries were cold and soggy.
When we brought up our concerns to the manager, he once again displayed his terrible customer service. He brushed off our complaints and refused to take responsibility for the issues, claiming that we must have received the wrong order. When we insisted that our food was indeed what we had ordered, he stormed off without offering any form of apology or compensation.
This terrible experience at Wendy's has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I'm afraid I cannot recommend this location to anyone. The manager's unprofessionalism and refusal to acknowledge the issues with our food have left me with no choice but to seek other dining options.
It's a shame that a once-favorite fast-food chain has been tarnished by such a terrible experience. I hope Wendy's corporate office takes note of this incident and addresses the issue with...
Read moreWent thru drive thru to grab something quick before heading into the hospital to visit my father as it is I was already stressed. Wendys messes up my order. Long line at Drive Thru I walk inside except the doors are locked. No signs and they have patrons inside. Finally an employee walks to the door and mumbles something incoherent. I said door is locked and he goes yeah they are printing a sign now; assuming lobby closed sign. So why is the lobby closed no response. I explain that my sandwich is wrong. He goes ok I’ll get it you want everything on it. I said yes. So he leaves me holding the wrong sandwich outside and is about to rain no offer to wait inside the lobby or to take the cold wrong sandwich to throw away. After around 10 minutes waiting outside holding the trash he comes back with my correct sandwich. Finally the guy asks if he can take the trash. Very bad customer service experience. Lack of communication. If you need to close your lobby for whatever reason you should post signs then lock doors and not the other way around. Not sure why it was closed in the first place they had a ton of employees working. Being right across from a major hospital they should learn to have better customer service as a lot of folks are already stressed out as it is you don’t need to add more stress getting their food wrong. Seems to be common issue here based off the...
