My first experience with Front Street Deli on 8th Street in Altoona was the most unforgettable dinner. Unfortunately, because I'm not from the area and I wasn't sure the name of the restaurant or my exact location, I wasn't able to revisit the restaurant again for more than 9 years. But, my experience today was just as amazing as it was 9+ years ago. The inside is always spotless clean. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The helpful, warm, and welcoming young man at the register took our order, 1 slice of the Buffalo Chicken pizza, our payment, and advised 10-15 minutes. While we waited, my husband used the restroom, which is said was clean, and I waited in the lobby and eyeballed the claw game. I'm actually not sure what I'm most excited about right now, the fact that I finally found the restaurant or the fact that I spent $4, $1 each turn, and won a rubber duck each turn and a bag of dip and dots. The young man behind the counter brought out my slice of pizza just as I spent my last $1 bill. Pizza was perfect when we sat down to eat it. Not too much sauce, not too many heavy toppings, just perfect! I will recommend Front Street Deli to ALL my friends and family. Thank you for the excellent customer service and delicious pizza.

This pizza is good and the price is unbelievable. You get a huge slice that is the size of half a pie for about $5.00. If you buy 2 slices you get a whole pies worth for about 10 bucks. The quality is high and the ingredients are high quality as well. It is probably the best bang for the buck in the whole city. Today I had the pepperoni and the white pizza with broccoli. I couldn't finish them both and I am a big eater. 2 slices will keep you happy for at least two days.

Picked it up fresh and ate it right away. The pizza was water moisture soggy wet, floppy, and the cheese and toppings slid right off. It felt more like waterlogged bread than pizza. I had to re-cut it just to get a slice. If you’re expecting anything crisp or structured, you’ll be disappointed. I would’ve thrown it out, but I was short on money and ate half before tossing the rest.

Just ate the most disgusting Pizza Burger I've ever had. First off, what kind of pizza burger doesn't have marinara, ketchup, or at the very least a tomato...

BUT beyond that, I think MCDONALDS produces a more flavorful burger than that (I physically get sick if I eat mcdonalds, gross). Front Street Deli's pizza burger was probably the most greasy, disappointing, soggy, and COLD "hot meal" I've ever eaten.

Can I be positive? Sure, the side of fries was decent but still below par. If I was physically capable of posting a lower star rating, I would.

I almost NEVER(first one in 4 years) write reviews but this was so AWFUL I really felt...

Ordered online through the Slice App - a main option when googling this establishment. When I went in to pick up my order, the guy behind the counter told me they could not locate my order and no longer work with Slice. This, apparently, was the second time this had happened and the gentleman informed me he couldn’t afford to ‘eat the cost again.’ As my payment had already been made, I asked who I needed to talk to about a refund and was referred to the Slice App without further assistance. I will never go back. Thanks for nothing. On a bright note, the people at Slice were very understanding and offered my money back...
