Gootzy Gaming — Local services in Altoona

Rob and Dani have done an amazing job with their store! We were able to host a Magic the Gathering draft birthday party at Gootzy Gaming. They made the experience very smooth and were very accommodating!

The atmosphere in the store is very open which is very refreshing. Since they have a variety of products there’s a little bit of something for everyone. I like that this is a space where I can enjoy learning about/demoing new board games while my partner can play MTG and search and purchase new cards.

I’m always so impressed with all the new 3D printed and laser cut products on display.

This is a really cool gaming store. It has recently just opened up as a store front from previously being an online seller. The owners are super cool people who obviously take a lot of pride in what they do. They have a lot of cool merch like DND dices, some hard-to-find board games that you won't just pick up at Target or Walmart, and a huge selection of tabletop game miniature pieces! They even have space to play games. They also have weekly events for games like Lorcana which is super cool. I love to see the community expanding and small businesses opening up in the area! Such a cool store! Lots of selections and games. Very knowledgeable staff. Prices are right for all of the cool things they offer. I'll design be buying my Christmas gifts here. It's nice to have something to do in the winter and I love that they have weekly community events and miniature paint and take nights. It's not always easy buying a bunch of paints for minis when I play DnD, so it's really nice and a super cheap option to paint them in store during those events!
