Araceli's Restaurant — Restaurant in Altus

I stopped by this place and was immediately greeted and served. The staff is fabulous, attentive, considerate and kind. I ordered breakfast and the food was excellent. Enough so on my way back through I stopped again. This time they were super packed at 11:00 in the morning so I knew I made the right choice. Again greeted with the same person and trust me when I say she is sincerely all smiles when greeting the customers. I ordered breakfast again with 2 over medium eggs, ham, (and let me tell you it's not a small thin slice) and these Mexican potatoes that I added cheese to they were off the chart and Texas toast. They have an amazing menu that I think anyone would enjoy. I would give this place a 10 star if I could....

My 6 year old niece cold prepare better quality meals. I have been here three times and each time my food was cold and only once was the service adequate. The last time I went was actually for breakfast with a friend and our waitress was incredibly rude. She got our order wrong and then mixed up our plates. She was hateful when my friend asked for a pancake and said the price was a dollar extra only for it to be $3 extra on the ticket. When my friend said something, the waitress rolled her eyes and acted as if we deserved such poor service. Sadly most of the waitresses are entitled and appear to behave as if they are mentally unstable or simply uneducated. Welcome to Altus… intelligent life no where...

We went for brunch Sunday morning and all the staff were dressed to the hilt in costumes. These costumes were amazing. Lorax, Jack Sparrow (phenomenal!!! She was so in character it was adorable!) and Mexican Sugar skull dancer in full dress, a sharnado waiter, the Scooby doo girls, Velma and Daphne.

But besides their costume contest….so go vote on their FB page….the wait staff can win cash prizes!! The food was excellent. Eggs were fluffy and not over cooked, French toast was excellent and the entertainment...
