I went to Sonic on 10/30/2024 to get a order of onion rings and a large sweet tea. I waited 20 mins for it and when I called back in to see why I was waiting so long I was told they are busy and working on orders as fast as they can so I left. I shouldn't have waited 20 mins for 2 simple items!! My family and I went back on Halloween to get corn dogs. We waited 45 mins for our order, had a carhop come to our vehicle several times trying to deliver another order. My husband told time that wasn't our order and than have them our order again each time he came to our vehicle. When we called back in the manager on duty came out and told us they thought we left so that's is why we had been waited so long. Than she waited us to pay for the order. I refused to pay for my order when it was clearly their fault!! She than called the GM of the store , which is her mother, to let her know we were not paying. The GM had sides with the manager until I reminded her toet the GM know it was their fault why we were not paying for the order!! The go to hell look I received from the manager while she was on the phone was very disrespectful and rude. It was very very poor customer service!!! To be the ONLY sonic in this small town and get ran by employees like that is ridiculous and needs to be addressed immediately!! Read moreUpdated I pulled my last review to reflect the new one. Yes the last one had enough complaints to choke a horse. Update. It's been almost 7 months since we were here. The service was very enjoyable the food list had some holes in it due to supply and demands. But I know that this one Sonic has been bending over backwards to just make sure you have the cups for drinks and the right bags for the food to be in. They have been going to other Sonics to get supplies. The food was good on this trip. I think during this low in supplies if they used wax paper tied close with a toothpick on the burgers and a generic pouch for fried foods would be just fine. I don't need to see the Sonic word on food wrappers. Cups can be blank also if they have the same amount of liquid I ordered in it. When I let the Heather the manager know she promptly snapped that they didn't have my order, then said she it must have been given to the wrong person when I gave her my ticket number, then she found it and had our order brought out to us after 30 minutes of waiting. Ice cream was melted, and the sundae was missing the fudge. No offer to remake or refund was made by Heather, I was treated with snark and disrespect. After asking to refund the sundae she said couldn't refund a mobile order immediately it could take 14+ days should she decide to inside out of my view. After making a complaint to corporate I head from the franchise owner Donna who was the first to apologize but again told me that I couldn't be refunded since I placed my order via the mobile app and offered me a gift card for my troubles and a waste of an hour.
