Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Alvin

I was highly disappointed with this location. I met 2 friends here Sunday 9-25-22 at 6pm since it was a central location for the three of us. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated promptly. After sitting at our table for 10-15min no one had come by to even take our drink orders or even acknowledge that they knew we were there. We were sitting in a booth behind another family and next to a another table with people so the wait staff were aware that we were there. After sitting there I asked a server walking by if someone was going to help us. I believe his name was Marlon, he did end up helping us after first letting us know he wasn't our server, but he'd still help. He took our drink /appetizer order and brought those items out then took our food order. THEN our assigned waitress comes to our table and is oblivious that we've already been helped. At this point we had been in the restaurant for over 30min before she finally showed up. I'm assuming no one communicates with eachother there because for the rest of our dinner the girl and Marlon kept bringing doubles of things (drink refills, dipping sauce refills, Togo containers, and even created 2 completely separate order tickets from eachother so we ended up with 2 identical bills at the end of the night) on top of this my food came out wrong, I ordered a kids fettuccine alfredo to go with my salad, breadsticks, and pumpkin cheesecake. When the food was brought out I was served buttered noodles and then I told the waiter that he looked at them and tried to argue they had alfredo on them which they clearly did not. He ended up bring a cup of alfredo out to put on my noodles but it turned out to be a greasy gross mess since they were already Saturated in butter. Myself and my 2 girlfriends are very disappointed in the service, or lack of that we received on Sunday. I've been to numerous other locations as olive garden is one of my favorite places to eat and I have never received such bad treatment. I DO NOT recommend this location. I would rather drive to Angleton, Bay Area Blvd, or the Pearland location before I ever go back...

I had lunch with some of my family at this location recently and for the most part if was a good experience.

We were seated right away, and our waitress met us promptly. She explained the various specials they were having at the time, and then proceeded to take our drink order. After getting out drinks, we followed the usual process; ordering our food, getting our appetizers and starters, then finishing with our meal. Everything tasted great and it was a large enough portion that I was able to take left overs to dinner that night.

The only complaints that I have were the service was a little slow at times and we were seated next to the bar. Normally I wouldn’t mind sitting next to the bar area, but the bartender was doing something behind the bar that was very loud almost to the point where we couldn’t hear each other talk.

Other than those aspects the experience was very nice. The restaurant was clean, and everything tasted great. Each time we finished our bread our waitress would bring out a fresh basket of hot bread. This is a great place if you want to nice meal for...

I haven't been to an Olive Garden in a long time. Although me and my friend visited one today and Alvin Texas. Both of us in our mid-40s but having waited tables during our college Years our experience today was phenomenal! Our waitress was exceptionally nice well-groomed and very polite and very professional. Her name was Jasmine. She greeted our table with a smile delivered all upgrading sales pitches such as offering drinks from the bar appetizers and selective items off the menu that were delicious.
