GMD Electronics — Local services in Alvin

I recently entered into a business transaction with Glen M. Dingley at GMD electronics where he purchased a tested & working item (Grecom EZ Scan Digital Scanner) at a reduced cost of $200.00. Upon receipt of the scanner, Mr. Dingley contacted me stating the Scanner would not power up and claimed to spend the better part of a day trying to make it power up, without success, and demanded a refund stating the scanner was useless to him in that state. I did as any respected business person would do under those conditions, and refunded his 200.00. Upon my inspection of the scanner he returned I found the scanner powered up just as it had when I tested it prior to shipping it to him with one exception, he had removed the SD card that held the program for the scanner and replaced it with a generic SD card making the scanner useless in that condition, so I am out $200.00 and he has refused to pay me for my loss. Mr Glen Dingley is a liar and a thief with a lack of honest business practices and should be avoided if doing any business with him or his company "GMD electronics". Glen and Walter have been servicing our customers doing contact work for us for the greater part of the last decade, if not longer. We have given them over 100 jobs in the last year and they have completed every single one on-time for a very fair rate. We have not received a single complaint.
