Louie's Una Pizza — Restaurant in Alys Beach

So whenever you say there will be a 25-minute wait, dont make us wait 50 minutes. The pizza would be worth a 25-minute wait but not 50. It wasn't terrible, but it is no Brozinni's. They built one of my pizzas with a bunch of olives, which is what I ordered. Pepperoni and Black Olives. But... they called it an error because of the amount of olives and remade the pizza. They gave us the other pizza for free though, which was nice. The design of the place is a little weird. For some reason, the window people walk up to is the pickup window, and the sign is faded and extremely obscure. But it is important to say what is good about the place, the service is super nice and the pizza was still pretty good. The cheese is super flavorful. They just need to balance out the flavors a little. It's too much cheese and not enough of anything else. You can taste a little bit of the sauce but barely any bread. Our first night in town, we were excited to try Louie's Una Pizza after seeing it had a 4.8 star rating. We picked up takeout and brought it back to our rental, really hoping to kick off the trip with a great local pizza spot.

The cheese pizza had a nostalgic feel, but not in the best way. It reminded us of cardboard school cafeteria pizza. It was edible but lacked flavor and texture. The supreme pizza lacked variety of toppings, with maybe one small piece of meat per slice and just a bunch of peppers. The sauce was extremely runny, which made the toppings slide off the undercooked crust. It just didn't hold together well.

For the $60 we spent on two pizzas, we expected a better experience. Maybe it was just an off night, but overall we were disappointed. Still hopeful there's a great pizza spot around here and open to giving it another try under different...

We had an awesome experience at Louie’s Pizza! We ordered a medium Louie’s Special, a personal gluten-free Louie’s Special, and an order of breadsticks with their house-made ranch dressing—everything was absolutely delicious. The best thin, crispy crust… cooked to perfection! The flavors were spot on, and the gluten-free option was just as tasty as the regular pizza, which is rare to find! The made to order pizza got to our table in such a quick and sufficient time even tho the place was packed tonight!

The service was excellent as well! Emilee was so sweet and friendly, funny too! —she made us feel super welcome from the moment we walked in. Chase was just as nice and so helpful!!
