Seldom does someone make you food, and you can taste the culture of that country that inspired the dish. Very few times have I had food someone else prepared and it blow me away. I mean this in the most genuine, pure way possible. The Quesabirria Tacos from here sent me straight to Jalisco, and I’ve never even been out of the country. I know no better compliment, than when someone gives you food and it sends you to another part of the world. The tastes and the smells were truly beautiful.
