El Tropico — Restaurant in Amarillo

Went in to order and was immediately disappointed with the girl at the counter. Not only did me and my family get racially profiled(Asian) and neglected, but she tried to act she didn’t understand us when we spoke not only English to her…but Spanish as well! We were also charged $15 for stuff we didn’t even get. After trying to explain to her IN SPANISH that we didn’t get one of the orders she was trying to charge us for, we gave up and left. Completely ruined a place we loved going to since it opened…food and drinks were still great, but definitely will not be...

This was my first time here, and it went perfect. The lady who helped me was so nice. She could tell it was my first time, so I asked her what was one of her favorite things to make. It was a concoction of Strawberries, cream, granola, and coconut. It was so delicious! I only got a small, but next time I'll make sure to get a large. I also got a frozen banana that's been does in chocolate with pecans all over. It was also delicious, but the winner of the night was the strawberry treat. Definitely recommend this once...
