Chiyo's — Restaurant in Amarillo

If you're going to visit a Chiyos location, go to the one on Teckla, it's better. Slightly. Make sure you tell them what you want in your meal before hand. Their meals are very different from every where else so read carefully before you order. If you love veggies, this place is for you! Lots of them! Not that I don't like them, but very little meat in the dishes. The egg drop soup tasted like pepper and water. Couldn't even tatse the eggs or anything else. Very hard to order because staff couldn't understand us. Staff extremely friendly and attentive, drinks stayed full and we're never empty. Large portions for the money. Reasonably priced. Great place for a large family on a budget. Great place for a quick meal or to drive thru. Couldn't keep the flies away from our table, would take it home...

I've been eating here since my youth. The staff is always friendly, and the biggest pro is that they are very fast. You can order it at their drive through window and get it in around 5 minutes! since I have been coming here for nearly two decades, I have seen a few situations with unruly customers. They always handle things professionally, and I've never had my order made wrong. They are a family business, and even their children are polite and professional. It is oriental fast food, so don't expect everything to be completely authentic. My favorites are their fried rice and pad thai in which they give large portions of rice and noodles. If you need more meat with it the extra charge isn't bad for how much more you get. I don't ever rate businesses, but Chiyos...

Been coming here for years. 5 star everytime. This time... Hard no. I get beef pad see ew and beef broccoli. Comes in like a regular container even though they borh come in broth . Fine, I usually spill it on the way home and thats ok thats on me. I have literally wondered since 2013 why they dont wrap these meals like this in plastic but like its ok because I usually spill just a little bit. This time, lady hands me two bags pooling with broth and says be careful of the soup 🙄 what. She didnt even give me the chance to spill it myself it was already gone lol. ...
