Hello, my name is Danielle Graham, and I visited this location today with my children. I placed two orders while I was here. Sometimes I will bring my children to McDonald's so that I can work on homework because I am in the nursing program at AC. So I ordered food while I let my children play. I have been here from about 4pm until 8pm in the lobby. During the afternoon hours, the service was great, my first order was wrong and had some things missing on my hamburger but they fixed it no problem. My husband came to pick up my children around 6 pm because he was off work, I don't know what happened after that. I put on my headphones to get busy and get to work on my school stuff. The whole reason I came. Your evening staff that is working here at this location does not know how to implement team building skills, they lack the teamwork attitude, the children who are working have no respect or humbleness for each other let alone their manager. I heard the, yelling and screaming at each other at one point and I heard them through my NOISE-CANCELLING headphones. I had seen the manager outside, it looked like he was pulling up to get a delivery from somewhere because he had a box of something he was carrying. I asked him if he was the manager of this store. He proceeded to tell me, "yes, I am." Well I told him that these kids in here got loud out of nowhere and were yelling and screaming at one another. I told him that I was trying to study and it was very distracting for me. He said, "ok, I will handle it." He came inside and it got quiet, but then the people working here started getting LOUD again at the manager and he finally tells them "SHUTUP!!!!!!!" At this point, I was the only customer in the store. I am very disappointed in the manager and the children that are being hired to work here. This crew at this location has no humbleness, teamwork, no respect and they lack the understanding of what it means to carry professionalism. At one point I even seen the little white boy raising his hands at a girl insinuating that he was going to box!?! HOW is that professional?? Regardless if they think that no one is in the lobby watching, they need to be constantly acting as if they are and being professional. It is very apparent that your evening manager who worked this evening does not have the leadership skills to handle the kids who are working here. Because if he did have those skills, these kids would have a sense of respect and honor towards him. They did not show that. He has said "SHUT-UP" to them 3 times since the initial time he came in to "inspect" what had taken place. That is not how a leader/manager should be speaking to their crew either. I do believe that the next time I witness an event such as this, I will be stepping in myself to say something to the crew and to the manager. I really hope that this is addressed. Because this makes this store look tremendously chaotic, unprofessional, and disrespectful to the public when they are making our food that we put into our mouths? What happens when one of the workers gets so upset that they accidentally spit in the food or slam things around and drop an order? Will the awareness be raised enough then? Bottom line, I am unimpressed by the staffing over the evening shift. It needs to be addressed or I will not be giving this location my...
Read moreNot much to say. It's McDonald's. It's going to be hit or miss. I usually get more misses than hits at the Teckla location. Good is almost always cold, even if you ask for it to be made fresh. I've even tried the no salt on the order and still gotten somehow unseasoned but still lukewarm and stale food many times there. The McDonald's at 34th & Coulter is so much more on top of things. I'm only reviewing the one on Teckla because it's right across the street from my apartment and even though quality and service aren't worth mentioning, it still has become a frequently visited place for a quick bite. Choose a different McDonald's if you have the option.
I'll highlight a few of the main issues and be done.
You never know what you'll actually get in your order. It's usually wrong.
If you ask for something special like no pickles or onions, you're still getting pickles and onions, assuming you get your own order to start with.
If you go inside to order, you are forced to use the kiosk things which they claim is necessary for dining in and that's not true. Any other location I've gone inside and was able to place my order with an actual person. The kiosks were optional. Not at Teckla. You have to use them.
If you have a problem with your order and aren't satisfied, don't plan on getting a refund or the problem resolved at the store. No matter how polite (or irritated) you try to be with any member of staff, you will be told that the mistake was your fault or that you hid the missing items from your order in an attempt to try to get free food. If you persist any further to try to remedy the problem, they just call the cops.
It's a very poorly ran establishment. Regional managers should be notified and take action to improve the Teckla location.
Good luck on your next visit. It's like spinning the wheel of fortune with a lot more bankrupt slots. Don't get a...
Read moreI eat at this McDonald’s when I’m rushed at work or tired afterwards. The morning ladies are the sweetest and have AMAZING customer service and the food is always fresh. Last night I had to work late and my husband was exhausted from work. We decided to get our Teenagers the new spicy nuggets (2-20 piece meals, which are amazing) but there was a child at the window (literally a CHILD) and he was EXTREMELY disrespectful, waving his hands around and yelling and slamming the window when we asked about our order. We got our food and went to get food at Whataburger and then Chinese (big family) Go home and we open the food for our kids and one box had 5 nuggets and the other 9. I’m no mathematician but 9+5= 14 NOT 40. We are tired and we are hungry and this is ridiculous!! Had to go back and lo and behold ZEKE (The entitled, Disrespectful Child) is running the window still. I say, my order was wrong and I would like to speak to a manager. He says, OH NO, THERE IS NO MANAGER, SHES ON BREAK. I was really mad at this point because he’s LAUGHING like a clown. I say, if you stop acting all crazy and do your Damx job right, I wouldn’t be here. He proceeds to laugh historically. I speak to Jennifer (manager) she’s very understanding! I speak with zohayla (sorry if I spelled that wrong) she was very nice and made my order again. But she told me she would send him home because all three of us seen his interactions with other customers. She had me go inside to wait and this zeke clown tells her that he’s staying till 10:30. Um! Like I said before, I’m no mathematician! But zeke should have been home at this time. SHE DID NOT SEND HIM HOME AND HE CONTINUED TO ABUSE THE CUSTOMERS. get some backbone and don’t let zeke take over your job as...
