Best BBQ in the Panhandle! There I said it. SERVICE - Friendly ATMOSPHERE- a little crowded but worth it. FOOD- was the best meal I have had ever, (excluding my wife cooking of course.) PRICE- was a bit intimidating but, worth it. (This definitely isn't a Happy Meal, but you should see the smile on my face!) The Ribs is what you must have. It fell off the bone and is honestly the first time I've eaten BBQ with a fork! The brisket was good as well. With a slight hesitation I tried the BBQ sauce, for those of you that do know me, I don't like BBQ Sauce atleast not until just today. The green beans were good but, a little sweet for me. And the Mac and Cheese was on point. The bread was basically an after thought however, I would have preferred it toasted at least. I highly recommend this place and would even go as far as naming this place, as my new favorite spot, in Amarillo!

Now this is Texas BBQ! We were traveling through from Colorado and we're looking for BBQ spots. We chose this spot because it is veteran owned and I dont think we could have chosen better! We were greeted at the door and though it was packed (a really good sign) our waiter was amazing! He knew the menu inside and out and was so attentive. Thats just getting started. The food was hands down- stellar! We tried a large amount between the 6 of us. The ribs slid right off the bone and all of the meat was tender and juicy! The sides are carefully crafted to balance the meat and together the meal is perfection! We were lucky enough to spend some time learning about the history of this place from the owner who is passionate about her work. If you are looking for a great spot that is locally owned and operated, give this place a shot!

I live right behind 9 Line and have never tried it, but smell the smoke every morning going to work. Service was very fast and friendly. Got the 2 meat with coleslaw , which I mis- ordered, meant to get the potato salad. Don't like cole- slaw but this was dang tasty. The other dish was The Medic!! Smoked mac n cheese with pulled pork on top. This was just way to good. They also have a smoked meat loaf, haven't tried yet, but heard it is amazing! Will update. Stop in and see then. Monday is meatloaf day at least i still think it is. Go see them won't be disappointed!!

Let’s knock our first things first. This place ain’t the cheapest. 20 bucks for a basic plate was enough to scare me to a sandwich. Still, I wanted to give the place a good chance.

I had the brisket and some Mac and cheese. For me the brisket was mmm good wet. Normally that’s a bad thing, but not this time. Won’t find no road kill jerky here. And the portion for it was plentiful.

The mac and cheese was good but different. It wasn’t bad, of course, but just a difference from normal mac and cheese that I’ve had. I’m sure more people like it then dislike it, but I would get another side in the future. Even still, I could tell that care was taken in its preparation and was filling.

Service was outstanding. I had been here all the time when it was robinsons but they have done some minor remodeling and it feels more like a smaller restaurant then a bbq hut. A nice touch. The wait staff was very attentive and never ignored or forgot about me.

Finally, and I’ll be honest, I was originally going to leave a 4. It wasn’t bad, but the balance of cost to meal just outweighs it for me when there are other bbq joints around. However, I bumped it up to a 5 based upon their morals alone. No offense to 9 line, but my absolute favorite is Crazy Larry’s and after their fire, I felt mega respect for them for getting donations out together to help them out. Maybe some competition, but shows that their hearts are in the right place.

Overall? It’s not an everyday thing. Price might quickly bankrupt you. But, to have an occasional stop from time to time for some good food I do suggest it and I will be back. Maybe can get ahold of some of those ribs next...

Finally tried this place for the first time. I live literally down the street from it, but never got a chance to try it. And after a whole year and a 1/2, I finally gave it a go. First of all, to the owner you have a great spot. I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Demitrius (hope I spelled his name right) the guy's service was impeccable. Before you even walk in, you can smell the barbecue. If that doesn't catch your attention, the quaintness of the inside will was very clean, even the bathroom was clean, you would think someone from Buckees was constantly in there to ensure that it was clean. I got the beef ribs, brisket combo... Everything was well seasoned. The ribs had a great bite to it. If I had to say anything about this place, it would be that on that particular day, I didn't get the juiciest brisket pieces. But that's okay, because the flavor was on point, and honestly, the beef ribs made up for it. I know it's something that they don't do regularly. It might have just been a bad day for the brisket that day. On that note, the service itself, it was awesome. And like I said, I will be going back to try a different plate, because there are more items that I would like to try from this place. I do have a TikTok if you want to see the video. Just go to my site. I will be posting the pictures right now as well. Thank you again,...

Went for lunch, and it was AMAZING. Our server Dee was excellent the entire time, he was busy but made sure we had everything our entire time there. When we first seated, was advised of about 15 minutes for the ribs, right at the 15 minutes both our server and the owner came to us to let us know it would be just a little bit longer to make sure they could rest properly. It took maybe a couple extra minutes, but loved that they came to let us know! We got our food in less than 20 minutes. Everything and I mean everything was perfect, we had ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. And every meat was perfect and tender, and in my opinion did not need any sauce but the spicy bbq sauce they did have was awesome. The smoke Mac was to die for and beans were delicious as well. We had no room for the banana pudding but got it to go, later when we ate it, tasted like my grandma made it! Everything about our first experience here was amazing, and when talking to the owner you can tell he is passionate about his food and he makes sure it is up to his best standards. We definitely will be coming back, and I hope that anyone who hasn’t been yet,...
