Large, open, well lit, ample amenities and parking
Not enough trees, terrain variation, or humanizing points of interest
This large park is mostly used for organized sporting events with the large sets of soccer fields and multiple baseball complexes. As a result, the bulk of the park is devoid of any trees and the entire park is as flat as a pancake. If this park had more large trees, more varied topography and more water it would be rather nice. The amenities are commonly used by the community and well maintained. Read moreThe park is good but is very disconnected, for instance there is a concrete path leading from McDonald lake to the library, but not one from the library to the rest of the park. I feel that lake Dr should continue and connect with Kwahadi Trail. There should also be more paths in the park to fully utilize it's size.
