I live near I love the park but the new athletic areas (you know the cages in our park). The one at the end 13 no parking 13. I makes people park everywhere during games. People that live here can't. Not normally! Illegal parking and safety of the kids is at about 0% and never a cop like they get those days off! Not impressed at all 0 stars if possible ✨️

In the 2+ years I've lived here, the dog park has deteriorated. This year, it's been closed for months (we were originally told 3-4 weeks) while they "work" on improvements & seeding. This is our favorite spot to come to so I wish the city would get this project completed.

Tge p.o ark is fantastic. The dog park inside has a lot of friendly faces, but they really need a sign like many dog parks that prohibits dogs that haven't been spayed or neutered. Most people don't understand how this affects many canines, and canine agression.

Large, open, well lit, ample amenities and parking

Not enough trees, terrain variation, or humanizing points of interest

This large park is mostly used for organized sporting events with the large sets of soccer fields and multiple baseball complexes. As a result, the bulk of the park is devoid of any trees and the entire park is as flat as a pancake. If this park had more large trees, more varied topography and more water it would be rather nice. The amenities are commonly used by the community and well maintained. The park features a long set of paths snaking through the open fields of lonely locust and mimosa trees interspersed between the soccer fields that make for great...

The park is good but is very disconnected, for instance there is a concrete path leading from McDonald lake to the library, but not one from the library to the rest of the park. I feel that lake Dr should continue and connect with Kwahadi Trail. There should also be more paths in the park to fully utilize it's size. Going down Bell St it looks like a proper city park but from Coulter and 45th it looks more like a retention pond. Storm St and Winkler Dr should also...

Stopped by on our way through during a road trip. Our border collie was itching to get out and run after three days on the road. This park was big enough to throw a chuck it, which makes it perfect for her! Shame this was only a quick pit stop for us, as all the dogs (and I mean ALL THE DOGS) showed up as we were getting ready to hit the road again. If we ever drive through again, we know...
