Stars Drive-in — Restaurant in Amarillo

Man, I love stars, but the customer service sucked so bad today, I asked who took my order and I think his name is Richard is what the car hopper told me, Richard kept trying to talk over me and talk over me and talk over me when I was giving my sons order and now that I got home and my order was completely wrong. I was supposed to get onions or pickles on my burger, but he kept trying to talk over me and didn’t let me explain what I wanted on my sons cheeseburger & I ended up having to toss it because my son wasn’t going to eat it !!! Stars should really teach customer service to the people that are taking orders. Because not just talking over me but he proceeds to say. Very RUDELY “ARE YOU DONE !?” Not once but 2 times while I was asking my little boy what he wanted to eat, man I never felt so disrespected by somebody taking my order making me feel belittled and dumb, I will rarely eat at again just because of this SMH it’s crazy I live a few blocks away and this is my go too…. Not anymore...

Food is bomb but I’ve never been hear before and first off the guy taking our order managed to be deaf with dementia and repeated to me exactly what I ordered and ended up scamming my husband. To start what we got was #4 w/ mayo no lettuce no tomatoes, LARGE TOTS, a large drink, JUST THE CHICKEN STRIPS WITH BBQ, chili cheese tots and medium drink right NO we were charged $37.07 for this and THOMAS put down exactly that BUT put CHICKEN STRIP DINNER w/ BBQ that is a meal and that would mean I was also lacking a drink and because it didn’t show us a order in a screen we assumed ok cool then we got our food.. large drink was watered down, missing large tots, and I was not expecting the dinner strips I thought it was just strips so I was going to forgive then I find out I was given white gravy and my husband was mad cuz where are his tots huh so I personally don’t suggest it maybe with different staff. I HAVE THE RECEIPTS TOO AND IF MY HUSBAND WAS WILLING TO I WOULD HAVE DONE...

Went there last night I ordered 2 orders of medium nuggets and 2 44 Oz drinks. The lady proceeds to tell me my total is over 24$. I looked at the menu and did a quick math in my head and clearly I didn't order that amount of food. So as I pushed the speaker button again I did the math with her and she had na extra drink on the order but still couldn't tell me how my total was over 24$.... it ended up being 18 and some change after we clarified the order but it left me wondering if I have been getting over charged every time I go there which is quite frequently. I usually will tip the car hops but the lady taking my order seems to be adding their own gratuity into the total already so I did ask for my change. A dollar or two difference isn't such a big deal but over 6 dollars and everybody in having to struggle nowadays makes me feel unsure about going...
