Ice Cream Therapy — Restaurant in Ambridge

The staff are very friendly and the ice cream is really good. The owner is so nice, all the employees are so nice... you feel like part of the family when you visit here. My family and i have become regulars here, and they really take care of us!! The prices are great and they have so many options to choose from. My first time going and I was hooked!! I have lived about 4 minutes from this place since 2015 and can't believe it took me till the end of 2023 to stop and try it. I guess in a way, it's good I did, because I would've put so much weight on!! We come here at least once a week... we can't get enough of their ice cream!! Their cone sizes are bigger than normal; I got a kids size that would be at least a medium size anywhere else. They do accept cash or debit as well and have a loyalty card. They stamp it for every visit, and once you get to 10, you get a free item of your choice (not the cheapest items you order). My new favorite is a "mix in" (their version of a blizzard) with cheesecake bites, salted caramel rock, and caramel drizzle. A large is 24oz and is only $7... and let me tell you they don't skimp on the toppings and items you add to your mix in. You really can't beat the price, service, and quality!!! I wish I could give them a higher star score!! Their customer service really makes me want to reevaluate the 5 star reviews I've given other places.... ice cream therapy is...

Ok, let’s start…. This is the best, no no no the very best ice cream place ever!!!! We have lived in the area all our lives but have never found ice cream therapy until this summer. We went on a hot summer night and the line was long. It went by fast and when it was our turn the employees were super nice and friendly. Any other place would have employees with attitudes if they had lines that long. The day we were there the owners had served ice cream at the local food soup kitchen. They were so excited and filled with joy from giving back to the community that it made me and my family happy. The ice cream we ordered was massive and we spent under $10. We have not gone to another ice cream place since we found Ice Cream Therapy. I can’t say enough about how cool this place is. I actually just saw that they had a cookout and gave out free hot dogs and hamburgers and had a DJ. How cool is that!! How many other ice cream places do that? I’m mad my family and I missed the party. Go get ice cream from here. You will not be mad. Awesome ice cream, awesome prices and best of all awesome owners who do good for the community. This ice cream shop is one of the greatest of all times and is a community oasis for Ambridge. I drive up from the city of Pittsburgh just to go to this place and its something I crave weekly. Not only are the ice cream products creative and inventive, but it is served with care and joy. No other ice cream shop in the area offers what this place does. It's a place where the community comes together. The long line is a testament to what they are offering. I was there once when a pay it forward train was going on...incredible kindness showed up and I feel it has everything to do with the vibes of the shop and the community following. The prices are beyond fair for the quantity and quality received. They even offer oat milk as a dairy alternative. My favorites at the shop include: classic sundae with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and whipped cream, and my new favorite is a chocolate matcha milkshake. Any one who is writing anything less than a five star needs...
