Maple Restaurant — Restaurant in Ambridge

I just had an interesting breakfast at The Maple restaurant. I was greeted by the friendly women who work there and seated. i got coffee right away, I ordered my breakfast and started reading the news on my phone. A few minutes later my toast came to the table. It really wasn't toasted at all, but I thought, "That's okay, whatever." So I ate a piece of bread and saved one for my breakfast...that came about 20 minutes later....? Why would you serve the toast so long before the food?

So I was waiting and waiting, and my waitress asked if I wanted more coffee. I said, very nicely, "No thanks, I'm just kinda hungry." So she said, "You're next hon, okay? You're next. There's no hurry" like I had insulted her or something. (What kind of thing is that to say? No hurry?) There were 2 other customers in the place at that time, how long does it take to cook some eggs? By the way, the food is just not very good. It's not.

Anyway I politely paid my check and didn't complain, but I will NEVER eat at Maple again. I don't know why people rave about it. The food is just BLAH. For that FIFTEEN DOLLARS I could have had a fantastic breakfast somewhere else....so that's...

This was our first and will be our last time we will eat here. We placed a breakfast order - 2 bacons egg and cheese sandwiches with sides of home fries, and 2 pieces of French toast. Total was $27 and some change, which we paid cash. Unfortunately, the bag was not checked before driving back home. We got 1 sandwich with home fries and 3 pieces of French toast.

We called and spoke with Nicole and got terrible customer service. We were argued with on the phone with what was ordered and what we should have received. Regardless if the order was taken incorrectly, we still did not receive the correct amount of food, especially not $27 worth of food. They never apologized, kept interrupting, and gave no solution when we asked if we could get reimbursed for the missing sandwich ($11). My husband and I both work in customer service and just couldn’t believe how poorly this was handled.

We ended up splitting the sandwich because we were hungry, but the home fries were very undercooked. We will continue to support local spots, but...

Today we went to the Maple Restaurant to eat. The cook really messed up our meals.I ordered the steak salad with no onions and in getting my salad it was bombarded with tons of onions. So I had to dig them all out and also received the wrong dressing. Another family member ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese. Out comes the sandwich same thing tons of onions with peppers and who knows what else. So they had to take everything off and put it aside. Notified the waitress and said she could have them remake it. But why should I waste my time in having them remake it! My time is just as valuable as yours. If the cook read the slip properly, then it would be fine. But I requested that something be taken off my bill for their stupidity. I was told they could not do it because it should have been sent back to remake. All in all, after spending $56.00 a very lousy meal. You just...
