Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Americus

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Still One of My All-Time Favorites, Even After 10+ Years

I’ve been going to Hibachi Express in Americus, Georgia on and off for over 10 years, and even though I live in Atlanta now, it’s still in my top five. That should tell you something!

The food has always been consistently flavorful—whether I’m getting the chicken, steak, or shrimp combo, it’s cooked just right every time. The fried rice hits, the veggies are always sautéed perfectly, and that signature white sauce? Still addictive.

I did notice that the portions are a little smaller than they used to be back in the day, but the quality has never slipped. And honestly, the flavor makes up for it. You can tell they still put care into each plate.

Every time I’m in Americus, Georgia, I make a point to stop by. It’s one of those hometown spots that just never lost its charm, and I’ve yet to find a hibachi spot in Atlanta that gives me that same satisfaction.

I almost always get the sesame chicken bowl with extra sauce and it is honestly the best sesame chicken I have ever had. It’s crunchy and full of flavor. We have lived in / visited 45 states so far and my family always eats at an oriental restaurant every state we go to so we know good oriental food and this place is awesome!!! The young lady that does the drive thru window is sooooo sweet I love coming just to talk to her lol my ONLY complaint is I wish they had sushi. If they served sushi I believe I would go broke eating here...

Horrible, tasteless, overcooked vegetables, chicken cooked way too long and hard, asked for salad but they havent updated the internet site to let folks know they don't serve salad; asked for fried rice and that's exactly what you get...rice that's fried but no vegetables or anything but oil and rice. We are connoisseurs of fine Asian foods especially coming out of San Francisco and other parts of California, but Taco Bell would have been a better choice for tonight's dinner...
