Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Americus

A lot of people view Little Caesars as garbage pizza. Or, if not garbage, at least a mediocre option to be avoided whenever possible. My wife is one of them. But LC holds a special place in my heart. As a child growing up dirt floor poor in Arvada, Colorado, some of of my fondest memories were the special days when we scrounged up enough money from odd jobs to indulge in the special treat that was the original “Pizza! Pizza!” For those not in the know, LC used to serve two pizzas on a cardboard tray inside a giant paper bag. For like a nickel. Those were the days…

But the Americus store only gets 4 stars today because the staff is about as unfriendly as they come. And they forgot to mark my order as ready in the app so I sat in the car a few minutes longer than needed watching TikTok waiting for a pizza that was already done.

On a positive note, I had no more regret and self loathing than usual after eating this greasy, bland, yet satisfying mess...

I would like to give the manager a 👍🏼. A customer that had someone else place an online order for her and pay for it; returned her pizza saying it was not what her friend ordered for her. He explained that was selected online. She continued to argue she didn’t eat a “veggie” pizza.

After several minutes of her being loud. She requested he return her pizza which was order wrong by her friend and make her what she wanted. He explained to her they would have to credit the card and her friend would have to reorder the pizza. She just wanted to pay the extra $ for the pizza she desired. He said he could not do it that way. He had to follow the protocol for the process.

She started raising her voice telling him repeatedly the customer is always right. And he was being hostile to her. Which he did not do. So hats off to you for not loosing your cool. FYI our pizza and wings...

Last Thursday was my 3rd time stopping by this location in a month and was also my 3rd time having to wait over 30 minutes for two regular pizzas. The other two times I was waiting for about an hour. There was hardley anyone here this last time and my order sat on the counter for half an hour because they asked me to pull around, but then forgot what I was driving. All of the workers were on their phones when I finally went in to see about my food. They were so busy on their phones they hardley payed attention to me and acted rude when I was upset about their horrible service. I highly recommend NOT coming here, I know I won’t be again, which is disappointing because I’ve always enjoyed little ceasars. I truly hope the owner can find decent management and staff before this place...
