Mr Burrito — Restaurant in Ames

Ordered for the first time. Burrito bowl, burrito and 2 orders of guacamole and chips. Order was supposed to arrive at 814, got here at 830. Lady apologized for being late. No problem. Get the food, it’s luke warm, stale chips and I’m missing an order of guacamole and chips. Call to let them know and after the voicemail coming on 3x they pick up on the 4th. I explain I just want the guacamole and chips I paid for and she says it will take 25 minutes. I explain it isn’t fair I have to wait when they were already late. She says it’s not my fault and it’s not hers and says she’s busy. 🤔ok.. well I’m hungry. So I express again I think I should be able to get my food I paid for right away and she says “I’ll send it out when I can” and Hangs up on me. At this point, I don’t want it. I call back many times but they aren’t picking up the phone. I won’t order from here again. It’s too bad based on others reviewers giving them high ratings but no one should be treated like that when paying for...

This was our first time ordering from Mr Burrito. We ordered online and the site was easy to use. Pictures with each item made it easy to see exactly what we were getting. Delivery time was estimated at 25 minutes and it arrived in about 15-20 minutes. We ordered a chicken burrito, chicken nachos, and a chicken tostada. The tostada lacked seasoning. The burrito was good but could have used more seasoning. The queso and the corn salsa on the nachos was good. The chips were soggy(understandably because wet queso soaking the chips). Ultimately I think it was the chicken that lacked seasoning since we ordered it with Al of our items. The entire order was just warm due to being delivered in a plastic bag. The prices were reasonable compared to other Mexican places in town. Overall a pleasant experience but could have been better. Would be better in the restaurant than it...

Very poor service, the employee may have been having a bad day but she was very disrespectful. She then preceded to overcharge me for my burrito and when I questioned her she said the menu had the wrong prices. The menu was a screen and easily could have been updated. I had suspected I was being overcharged in the past and the one time I actually pay attention to price they tried to charge me an extra dollar. I am sure they often try to take advantage of customers on popular bar nights. I will never go back there and I advise everyone to pay attention to the total they are charged. A dollar is not significant, but out of principle I will never again give those crooks my business. Small businesses should be built on integrity, Mr. burrito certainly is not.
