The girls who work in this building are awesome, their customer service is impeccable. I go to this location every single day at least once a day, sometimes 3 times a day literally, and I have been doing this for almost 2 years straight. I choose to go to this location over McDonald’s where my drink would be $2 cheaper, and the main reason I do this is because of these girls service. The day before yesterday though, something happened and I’m a bit irritated with it considering how much money and recommendation I put into the company. Anyways I was met at the drive thru widow to a lady who I have never seen before, she told me my price and it wasn’t compliant with the price I get every single other day, so I asked her what it was about and her exact words were “you got an extra scoop of powder, it’s an extra charge, and I’m the manager here so if you have gotten another price, whoever rang you up was charging you wrong, if it’s me ringing you up you know your price is right” and it’s really about how she said it cause I can understand if I have been charged wrong in the past but she was flat out rude and had a very big head about the fact that she was the manager so it was right. It’s extremely sad that the manager has horrible customer service, it’s also extremely sad that the manager doesn’t know her EVERYDAY customers. Also if what she said was correct, when I get a large mocha velvet ice with no whip cream and no drizzle with an extra scoop of powder why is the price not reduced for the whip and drizzle but I’m charged extra for the powder?? Doesn’t make...
Read moreI reached out to corporate around this time last year and unfortunately never heard back, which was extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues I had was receiving a breakfast sandwich that was frozen in the middle. After that experience, I stopped ordering food and only continued getting iced coffees.
I’m a very patient customer and I don’t mind waiting for mobile orders, especially since I was told the store doesn’t see the order until I arrive, but my last few trips, they’ve had my drink ready at the window, which I appreciated. So I’m not sure which is true . However, during my most recent visit (Sunday evening), there were no other customers in line and no other cars at the drive-thru. Despite that, I still waited quite a while.
When I finally received my drink, it was one of the worst protein velvet ices I’ve ever had. It was watery, not even filled to the top, and for a $10 drink, that’s just not acceptable. I posted a picture below, although the straw was put in it, I hadn’t even tried it. I feel like it’s normally filled to the top.
I keep coming back because I genuinely enjoy the coffee and want to support the business, but consistency and quality need improvement—especially...
Read moreEdit: Went in today after many weeks away. Thermostat set 68. While slightly chilly, certainly more reasonable. And the wife went in another day and said it was 69. Glad to see the change. More enjoyable experience for sure. I have updated ratings.
I love that Amite has a coffee shop. And I love sitting at a coffee shop to get work done. Unfortunately, I can no longer do so at the Amite location. It's simply too cold inside. Freezing on the inside. The temperature is always at 65 degrees or below. A/C constantly running. Why?! Shows a lack of understanding of what it means to best serve customers. There's other questionable customer service activities. I've tried to endure the cold and support local business, but I simply can no longer do so. I wear a jacket every visit. And still freezing. Not a little cold. Extremely cold. I'm headed to a coffee shop in Hammond as we speak. Unfortunate. There's a serious LA k of awareness at the location. Perhaps it's the teenage workers, that can naturally have a lack of awareness or experience. But I would hope management would be on top of customer service activities. Doesn't seem to...
