Just to start the review, the food was good, no issues with it. We received it in a reasonable time frame and it tasted great. However the customer service from the hostesses and the shift manager wasn’t great. We arrived and put our name in for a party of 4 at 5:40, they told us it would be about a 25 minute wait. After about a half hour of waiting we noticed people with larger parties and the same size as us —who came after us— were being called up, so I went to ask where we were in the queue. The hostess that took my name originally told me that I wasn’t on the list and said she would put me at the top (no apology) while we were waiting a party of 5 was called 4-5 times that never showed. 10 minutes later I went up to ask about our party, again after a couple other parties were called up, and she told me that we had been called up originally and no one came and so they were trying to squeeze us in. My family was waiting 10-15 feet from the hostess station the whole time, our name was never called, and they attempted another party 4-5 times before giving up on them, so we would definitely have known if our name was called. We were seated after 50 minutes of waiting. If it was just me and my spouse it wouldn’t have been a big deal, but we also had our young children with autism with us and we wouldn’t have waited at a place 50 minutes to be seated, we know what our children can handle and that wasn’t favorable. Our waitress had one of the managers stop by to speak to us, she listened to what happened and mentioned that it might’ve taken so long if we had asked for a sling or high chair (we had a baby with us) which we didn’t ask for one, so she said that shouldn’t have happened. Thanked us for letting her know, apologized quickly and then left. She stopped by one more time at the end asking if she can get us anything else. Seems like those who don’t work for tips at this restaurant don’t understand customer service. In the future I’ll drive 30 minutes to...
Read moreI hate leaving negative reviews but wow just wow after today's visit I really feel compelled to do so. I'd like to state we frequent Red Robbin quite often. Always the the place out daughter chooses for her birthday. That being said it's usually an enjoyable experience. Tonight was not such a case. We sat down our server stopped by to get a drink order for our table we had questions about if we could use a rewards with the 9.99 deal. We were informed we couldn't not a huge deal but what was the huge deal is the F bomb our server decided to drop in front of my 10 year old daughter and mother. We were taken back by it but didn't say anything maybe just an accident slip of the tounge. She then proceeded to drop several more f bombs to the point my wife had to ask her to stop. She then told us she didn't even notice she had been saying it. To top it off she didn't once take any plates or cups from our table the whole visit so we were talking around a pile of dishes. My wife's burger was so over done the cheese was burnt almost beyond recognition. Fries were cold at first but the refills were nice and hot that was nice. They recook my wife's burger it comes back under so they take it off which was also nice. I can look past the food I understand about tough night's in the kitchen what I can't look past is the awful service and the fact a manager didn't even once come to our table to speak with us about our experience. The lady I assume was the manager came by to take our card for payment because the thing at our table wasn't working and I was holding the card in the air for some time trying to get noticed. It's been an awful experience that makes me not really want to come back and have to go through again. I know I will most likely be back but not sure exactly when. It was truly the worst service I've ever gotten anywhere. Sincerely a annoyed and...
Read moreMy husband and I went out to dinner with some friends last night. I have enjoyed this restaurant before, but will not be returning again and our friends said they won’t be returning either. Our server was awful with coming back and refilling our drinks, we had to ask three separate times for a drink and received it 30 min later, along with the bottomless sides we ordered. The sauces we received were put in little to-go cups and the bottom of it we’re barely covered. Not even enough to dip fries in. I thought it totally asinine they would not let you into the building without a mask, and even after saying I couldn’t wear one due to medical reasons, all they could offer me was the menu to go. For hells sakes people. That is NOT customer service!!! But we were fine to take them off as soon as we got to our table. (Cuz that makes SO much sense). Then I go to the restroom right before closing time so nobody is in there, and I forget my mask. So on the way back when I’m 10ft away from our table, our server who failed to take care of us tells me I need my mask. Yes, I already know. I forgot. But why does it matter anyway? Nobody was close to me. I will not be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere and will be sure to let my family and friends know to go somewhere else also. We shouldn’t have even gone into the restaurant with the way they were at the door. Red Robin doesn’t deserve our money. I’ve been to doctors offices, the hospital, other restaurants and stores that aren’t anywhere near as strict about masks as they are. Ridiculous. It would have been nice to enjoy our meal without feeling on edge and walking on eggshells with how strict the atmosphere felt. You lost 6+...
