Bandeño Mexican Food — Restaurant in Anaheim

This place is delicious! I’ve tried several things from here including their bean & cheese burrito, grilled chicken burrito, several of the different breakfast burritos, enchiladas, and some tacos. Everything I’ve had has been great and I have yet to be disappointed from Bandeno! They have wonderful service, are always friendly, and are always fast with my order, without compromising on the quality. Most of their salsas are also amazing! And I love how convenient their location is when I’m visiting the area! So glad they’ve made it through Covid and are still serving their yummy food! I would definitely recommend Bandeno to anyone who’s craving some delicious Mexican food, and will definitely be ordering from them again!

UPDATE: 1/1/2022 Was at 5 stars, NOW only giving them 3 stars due to frequent order mistakes when ordering through delivery apps; including being charged for things I never received, on more than one occasion; and mistakes due to restaurant error, not delivery/driver error. What’s the point of providing customers with add-on and other customization options, when they are just ignored and/or disregarded?? It’s very frustrating to be charged for add-on’s I order, only to not receive them; AND to have “special instructions” completely overlooked!! 😠 Although their food is still delicious, this has happened SEVERAL times over the past few months, warranting a lower rating, as this still speaks to their customer service. And, this HAS made me NOT place an order with them a few times because, unfortunately, I cannot trust that it’ll be correct through delivery. If you want any sort of customization at all, including add-on’s they even charge for, save yourself the annoyance —and some possible wasted $ — and just go into the restaurant, so you can verify the accuracy of your order, along...

Authentic, Mexican food!!! I’m from Boyle Heights/East LA area, born and raised there. I moved to Anaheim two years ago. I do miss walking down the street to any local Mexican food restaurant that provides authentic flavors. I like menudo and as a Sunday treat after church service, it is customary for us to have a good lunch. I decided to do a google search of Menudo and my search introduced me to Bandeno Mexican food restaurant. I decided to head out with my son and grab a nice bowl of menudo to my surprise as I walked in. It was a lively & friendly vibe. The menu is pretty extensive offering from tacos typical combo plates, soup and salad; add a modelo beer if you like. I was greeted and welcomed by the owners, and they gave me an appetizer of their beans with salsa and cheese on top, and the chips were made fresh 🤤 The beans were sooo yummy!! My menudo was delicious! My son had 2 shrimp tacos with beans and rice. The appetizer of beans, salsa topped with cheese are so delicious and spicy but I couldn’t stop eating them 😆. I saw this new Mexican joint on yelp and I decided to try their hardshell tacos and let me tell you they were absolutely delicious! The shredded beef taco I got was so amazing, the meat was fresh and although the tacos look a little small, don’t let that fool you because it’s a solidly packed taco. I also got a hard shelled deep-fried chicken taco and that was amazing as well! I was taking pictures and the employees there were very welcoming and actually told me to take pictures of them so I did! They were absolutely so nice and very very sociable. This deep-fried taco was so crispy it was served hot and fresh, the tacos were about three dollars each and so worth it! Give this place a try you won’t regret it! There is a cute outdoor seating area and there is plenty plenty of parking so you won’t have any problem finding a parking spot. They practiced social distancing and they offer to go orders.
