Anaheim Public Library - Canyon Hills Branch — Attraction in Anaheim

This library has been my "home" library for 20 years, that is it is the library closest to my home and I go to this library more than any other. Oh, and I've lived in my home by the library for 20 years.

A few years ago, the Wife and I did some voluntary volunteering at the library on the weekends. Our primary responsibility was to facilitate the donated books and to stock those books into the "Friend's Library". That, as you probably know if you are the type of person who reads reviews on libraries, is the section where the library sells donated books and books the library is discarding.

I borrowed a few CDs for my little one to listen in the car. I don't ever remove them from my car. When I get a notice to return, I would gather all of them and drop them off to the Dropbox by the parking lot. They just called and said I still owe one item. I counted multiple times before dropping them in the box making I return EVERYTHING. I called to told them that's what I did. They still couldn't locate it and asked me to pay for it. It's not my responsibility to pay for a missing CD that was in their box. They need 60 days to locate a CD. I forgot that I deal with library and corporation. Horrible experience. I will never go to this...

Have been a patron for over 15 years. Yes agree as someone else noted they do a very poor job of checking in “checked out” materials when you use the “ drive thru” book drop outside or book drop window by the front door.

They have claimed I didn’t return items several times over the years. It’s best to return at the front desk even if they Point to the book drop on the wall inside the library.
