Bottoms Up Tavern — Restaurant in Anaheim

My group used to love coming here. I had a bad experience with a heavy set blonde bartender awhile back, and last nights bad experience proved to them how some of the staff here are totally rude. The busperson/bar back came and told my friends to stop dancing. Saying that "this isnt a strip club". We thought she was joking at first until she came back for more of our empty glasses, and continued to harang us about the way my friend was dancing with his lady. We asked if she was the manager and if she was gonna kick us out to which she responded "Who do you think you are, have some respect" umm us have respect? How about you have some respect for clientelle? I have never been treated so rudely by employees of an establishment as I have in this bar - on multiple occasions! The two bartenders at the righthand side bar last night (01/07/17) on the otherhand were fantastic. Totally dancing and fun, and this is in no way meant towards them. They even made me a fantastic cocktail when I didn't really know what I wanted! Too bad they are here, where their great service gets overshadowed by bad apple employees....

Ive been here a couple of times.. and i liked it up to the point of right now. I sat down next to this man and he got up and moved for seats down. I didnt think much of and figured this man just liked his space. We ordered our drinks and played music toot and boot it to be exact the same man gets up and goes behind the bar grabd the remote and skips all our songs and plays country. My friend ask him why he did that he says no hip hop rap before 8. My friends fiance and her both love country and they had played some country his friends show up and he assumes they played and said good thing you guys got here they were giving me crap for turning of there music. The friends says good and encourages him. I come to find out he is the owner. Its unfortunate that ive experinced this because i love this place great staff and environment to bad it is owned by such an intolerant person. On to...

Jason, the barback, was awesome. Great attitude. Great customer service. Tiffany, the bartender, on the other hand was a nightmare. She threatened to tase me. I stepped about 1 ft into the bar to grab a napkin and as I sat down behind the bar she told me not ever to step behind her bar because she’ll tase me. As I’m sitting in my seat behind the bar, she went and grabbed her taser and pointed it at me as a threat. I, very calmly, enticed her to tase me knowing I’d be in for a big pay day, knowing that I was calmly sitting in my seat with a handful of witnesses. Just a pathetic display of self control and awareness on her part. Be aware if you frequent this bar. She’s unstable...
