$$ to almost $$$... Really weighty Sandwiches! (They call it, "pile them high"!)
I really like the Bronx Sandwich Company; it is a quality restaurant for sure! I ordered a tuna salad sandwich (very generously stuffed with loads and loads of tuna, lettuce, and tomato) on marble rye with havarti cheese (they offer several breads and several cheeses)... served with dill pickle wedges. I tasted two of the three salad choices and chose the Italian salad (they are alacarte). My sandwich was okay... I expected better flavor, I would recommend adding some of my favorite ingredients to the tuna salad... some celery, some chopped pickle (a very good dill) and a bit of onion (chives). The pickle spears they serve along with the sandwich didn't do it for my taste (very critical element for a tuna salad sandwich. The Italian salad was tasty. The items are alacarte so the sandwich and 4 oz salad came to a bit over $11.. (a smidge pricey but considering the special bread, special cheese and the sandwiches weight... it's all good!)
I like the stylish "Bronx" atmosphere which is colorful and dramatic; the restaurant is clean and very well maintained (they set a good example with this aspect of their restaurant). The staff are friendly. The location is in a rather nondescript but busy Anaheim neighborhood mall on Euclid and Ball Rd (not far from Disneyland).
I like the open super clean kitchen and savvy deli feel of the place.
I think you will like the Bronx Sandwich Company!

Read moreThis is a great spot for cold sandwiches. Their baguettes are delicious and fresh. I can't say much about the hot pastrami sandwiches though because the one time I ordered a westcoast pastrami sandwich, it was dissapointing and I could not eat more than 1/4 of it. Here's why:
The pastrami (meat) was the thickest pastrami I have ever had on a sandwich. While the quality was good, it was too thick and difficult to chew - so not the ideal meat for a sandwich. Also, it was definitely not piled high as they advertise. They actually served me less pastrami than any other sandwich shop I've been to for a pastrami sandwich; also, the melted yellow American cheese is not a good choice for a "westcoast" pastrami sandwich. That was a first for me, and it did not go well on the sandwich. I found it completely overpowered the pastrami and mustard taste. It simply did not make the sandwich taste very good at all. I'd recommend sticking with swiss cheese on the pastrami if you...
Read moreWas headed for the chicken place in front of this small shopping center but saw this and decided to stop in. Great decision. This is a nice restaurant. The decor is what I call 'modern industrial chic', but it's functional and attractive in a cubist sort of way. You order at the counter from the menu above it. Great selection. I had the 'Messy Bronx'. I believe that was the name. Just like at NYC delis, these sandwiches are huge. And they are very, very tasty. I ordered mine on rye, and this was indeed the best rye bread I've had outside of NYC. They have pickles if you ask, and again they were perfect. There is a 'serve-yourself' soda fountain machine, plus they have some bottles beverages, but I did not see any alcohol. All in all, I will be going back. But not until after I eat the other half of this sandwich. Told...
