Oh my! Oh my! What an awesome time! Not only did I get great service while I watched the Niners game but I have great food and two drinks of a kind.
I called previously to ask if I needed reservation and was advised I should be good because of the timing. Sure enough, when I arrived parking was easy to get right outside the location. I was greeted tight away by the manager and as he asked how many there were I mentioned it was just me and if I could just sit at the bar, which he had no problem with that.
Sitting at the bar was the best decision as Karlee my bartender was amazing!!!!! She kept great convo and then Carlos came along, they both make such great team. Karlee made a couple suggestions on my food options as it was my first time and the from all the options we went with MOUNTAIN HIGH LOADED FRIES; which consisted of fries, brisket, cheese, barbecue with parsley and pickle on top.
Nooooowwwww! Let's get the party started as my Niners were on the lead! The drinks were just getting started lmbo. I started with one of their most popular so far, THE BATHTUB W/RUBBER DUCKY. This drink gave me a taste almost like an Adios but lighter. Best part you get to keep the rubber ducky lol and okay I had to have a second one just because I wanted another rubber ducky. The next drink I had was THE PURPLE ROSES, which consisted of a Purple Rose Ice put in a mixed almost like martini drink. I really enjoyed that one but definitely could not have a second one lol.
They had a couple books on their top shelve and I asked about one and Carlos mentioned it was one of his favorite one. It's called The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I had never read that book and although it's a children's book it has a great concept. I did take a picture of page so you all can enjoy that one page:D
I was able to meet most of the staff, all of them were amazing, friendly, courteous and seem to be having fun. Again, Karlee and Carlos made my evening awesome and Shane was friendly too. They were attentive at all times although they were starting to get busy, even though it was a Monday.
One thing I will suggest is to put a TV by the bar area, as most of the TVs are by the table area. Maybe they can remove the mirror that the ceiling looks into for a TV that customers can watch while enjoying great drinks with delicious food. Again, it's a suggestion. Until next time my fellow yelpers and enjoy the photos! Oooohhhh! Don't forget to follow them on their Ig...
Read moreToday we had all the things. I had the Family BBQ Platter with Prime Brisket, Prime Pastrami Brisket, Lamb Rack, Short Rib, Smoked Turkey, a Sausage, four sides and the 32oz Tomahawk Steak. My sides included Mac 'n Cheese, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Street Corn, and Waffle Fries.
The barbecue platter would have been a slam dunk if it had everything it was supposed to have. As I'm writing this review and referencing the menu I just now realized they didn't serve me the sausage! Shame on them.
Aside from that shortcoming, the lamb lollipops were incredible and stole the show. Surprisingly, the sliced turkey breast took a close second in comparison to the lamb.
The sides also shone brightly in tonight's dinner. Of the four sides the mac 'n cheese was the best. It was creamy, gooey, thick and delicious. Next I would have to say it's a tie between the garlic mashed potatoes and the street corn. I was definitely surprised by the quality of the side dishes and was not expecting them to rival the meats in the battle for belly room.
Sadly, my Tomahawk was overcooked. I ordered medium rare and got medium well. The situation was quickly rectified by Max, who removed the overcooked piece of meat and replaced it with new one that was cooked properly. As an added attempt to make up for the overcooked meat a server brought a plate of loaded brisket fries stacked pile high. We had a table full of food we were too full to eat, but accepted the fries regardless. Honestly, I would have preferred for them to take off the extra order of ribs from our bill rather than bring more food we couldn't eat, but hey, it is what it is. They tried.
My one complaint would be the service. With the smorgasbord of food we ordered our plates quickly stacked up along with glasses from the bar. At no point during our meal were any of the plates or glasses removed from the table. My guest and I were stacking, pushing and shoving plates, glasses and cutlery out of the way to make room for all of the food and numerous servers and management walked by our table without clearing any of the plates. For me, this took a lot away from the overall dining experience.
Between the forgotten food and dirty plates I can only give three stars today even though the food was pretty good.

Read moreThis restaurant just opened tonight, but you couldn't tell. Everything was great staff were great food was excellent no problems arose during our 2 hours of dining there. This was by far some of the best barbecue we have had in a long time. We started our visit during happy hour 1500 - 1800hrs. Mon. thru Fri. They also have a reverse happy hour Monday thru Thursday 2100 hrs. till closing. We started off with drinks and guacamole and chips, guacamole was very fresh and creamy the chips were crisp and I believe were blue corn with a hint of lime. We chose for our meal the family platter which came with a choice of four sides. If you are new to eating here this is a great choice there are selection of meats (brisket, pastrami brisket, lamb rack,, short ribs, ribs, turkey and sausage. The four sides are large with a great variety to choose from. On this platter was smoked turkey that had excellent flavor and very moist. I would order this turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner so I don't have to cook one. The smoked sausage is made in house it has some spice but great flavor and not dry its excellent. The brisket came two ways regular and pastrami style, fantastic very tender, good smoke ring and wonderful bark. You couldn't eat the short rib off the bone because it was so tender it easily fell off the bone. It was delicious and the best barbeque short rib I have ever had. Now the sides, these were amazing and close to being better then the meats. We had loaded mac & cheese which was better then any other restaurants I have tried. Blue cheese slaw was different and unique very rich and creamy excellent. Next was the short rib and brisket chili which was more of a meal then a side and we saved it to take home. The last side was brisket & grits, it was superb. I am not a fan of grits but this changed my mind and would order it again without hesitation. The meats and sides were very large and we ended up taking half of the food home. Which is a plus because you can continue to enjoy this great meal the next day. There was 3 of us but easily feed 4. I will definitely be going back again and again. Even if you are not in the area try this place and it will become you favorite place for barbecue. They also have sandwiches and salads on the menu that looked delicious. I will try next time and...
