Magnificent place, the pastry is incredibly delicious! The pastry with the soft serve is insanely delicious! The staff was among the friendliest I've experienced anywhere. The ones doing the decorating are laser focused until they've completed their masterpiece and then, all smiles and laughter. They're actually excited to serve it to you! Passionate people here, one of my moat favorite attributes of a food place. They wished my daughter a happy birthday after hearing it was her last treat at this age. They all sang Happy Birthday to her when they served us our Birthday themed dessert. Surprised and my daughter loved it! They even lit the candle!! Okay so, I ordered 3 different versions 1 cookie(something, cannot remember): pieces of cookie, and cookie dough placed on the soft serve inside of the delicious bread. Covered in chocolate sauce. This was a real winner between all the delicious flavors as well as the textures. Absolutely must try Oreo overload: chocolate soft serve covered in oreo crumbles, the bread is also covered in crumbles. Then its topped with a giant oreo looking cookie and chocolate sauce. The oreo cookie tasted a little funny but everything else was amazingly delicious. The birthday cake one tonight had a red velvet cupcake on top rather than the advertised vanilla cupcake but that wasn't a bad thing in my personal opinion haha, I could see how someone could be let down by that though, so fair warning. We were able to customize it a bit changing the vanilla pit for chocolate which was awesome! Everything else youd expect, sprinkles, sauce etc. It was absolutely delicious. To sum it up, these Hungarian pastry breads are the best knees, very very delicious if you love pastries. It isn't quite a croissant, it's much more dense. It's slightly crisp on the outside but deliciously chewy on the inside. Top them with ice cream and you've got a home run delicious dessert! Lastly, they have a large water serving station, nice needed touch. I personally recommend sharing these things but you do you. This place is an ultra rare 10 out of 10. Idea: 10 Service 10 Ingredients 10 Flavor combos 10 Portion: 10 Ice cream, seriously... 10 Instragramability (presentation) 11 (yep) rock n roll level Overall experience 10 This is a must experience dessert venue....
Read moreOverall, Easter Minnie ice cream cone we ordered was very delicious. But… customer services, cleanliness could’ve been better. My friends and I were waiting for our order, we had a family in front of us. We observed how they were preparing their order. One of the girls working on their order opened the wrapper to their fortune cookie with her mouth. Very disgusting, unsanitary and disturbing to watch. She then proceeded to wipe her bangs out of her face and move on to our order. We politely asked her if she can change out her gloves and wash her hands as she’s suppose to after touching other surfaces that’s not food and asked to redo our cone as she was already started on it with dirty gloves. She rolled her eyes and walked away, and moved on to another order. She walked outside to hand them their order, walked back inside WITH THE SAME GLOVES AFTER TOUCHING THE DOOR HANDLE, and wanted to start our order again. At this point we were being annoying and made sure everything was clean when it came to our order because that’s what we’re paying for. The other young lady then proceeded to help her and made our order. Yes it was a bit busy, maybe a little to much she could’ve handled that she wasn’t paying attention to the little stuff, but it was a big deal after all the unsanitary and disgusting things we saw her do and handling food. One time thing,...
Read moreA unique soft serve treat, but not one to repeat. The staff was comically slow - we were the only people in line and waited 15+ minutes for a single item. It was like watching an ultra slow motion replay on a controversial call in the Super Bowl. The lady who made our order looked like she was wading through quicksand.
This was problematic not only for the wait, but more so because the cakes are baked fresh upon order. Sounds great, right? Well, what's happening to that soft serve sitting in a hot cone while the staff pretends they're stuck in a time warp? You guessed it - melting.
So instead of a crispy cake cone full of cold ice cream, you get soggy cold cone dripping with lukewarm milk. If executed properly, this could be really really good (better quality ice cream instead of McDonald's soft serve, and staff working at a reasonable pace).
We went twice, thinking the lady who served us the first time was a fluke; unfortunately we found that the management only hires people who work like they are walking up a mountain into the Santa Ana winds.
