The one star is only because I love the food. I drive from Buena Park to this area neighboring Yorba Linda. I spent over $60 for lunch and waited a long time to get the food to go, while waiting in the seating area a kid comes running barefoot from the back. He ends up by the buffet bar and register where there is a pen and paper. He gets the paper and pen and starts hopping all over the benches touching on the pre set tables and chairs for dine in guests. He’s going from table to table out there and writing on his papers then comes near where we are sitting and slides a paper over to my son who about the same age as him. The note reads “I’ll kill you”!! I ask for the parent of the child and it turns out to be the chefs child. He barely even addressed the note to the child. He only told me he’s so sorry and blamed it on learning it from YouTube or school. Then I continue to wait on my food and the kid comes out again and calls my kids stupid.. We were only just sitting there patiently waiting out food that we drove 25 mins for. I used to live in YL and this was my favorite place to eat at. I’ll never come back here again it went downhill! EDITED TO ADD: in response to the business comment below, please educate yourselves, HIPAA is privacy of HEALTH INFORMATION. It breaks no law of a photo taken of someone that threatened us. And I also told the employyees that I took a photo of the note and of the child and will be posting it on my review and he just said okay.

My wife and I went exclusively to try their buffet, and it was perfect! I've traveled to India, their food is fantastic but it made me really sick because of the spicy content on it, and I was saved when I was given Lassi, a drink that really helped me go through my last days in India, and here at Masala they have been able to balance their food so well that you can actually enjoy their authentic Indian cuisine flavor without the heavy spicy effect in your stomach afterwards. Traveling in India I had their food in hotels and some real good restaurants but the very best I had is when I was fortunate enough to be invited and had Indian Home Made Food, ohh goodness that was amazing and Masala Curry brought those memories with their tasty and delicious food back into my mind. We didn't mind the driving distance, and didn't visit Masala looking for a 5 star or gourmet quality food experience, we were just looking for "a good and enjoyable dining experience", and we found it. I highly recommend this place, it is not fancy but it is very clean with enough room to enjoy your food, and don't forget to order your mango lassi or similar, which besides being great it helps with your digestion. A special mention to the owner, he creates the perfect atmosphere, great customer service, and perfect advice if you need help with the menu or anything else. Wife and I are definitely going back. Thank you Masala Curry!

My wife and I ordered food through this restaurant and I can tell you one thing. Avoid at all costs! The food is overpriced, portions are small and Chicken Tikka Masala came without any rice. I remember going to this restaurant in person and even back then the food was overpriced but at least the chicken tikka masala came with rice. I strongly discourage you from ordering this via Uber Eats. Their offer doesn't match what we were offered at the store. When we tried calling the restaurant they were not helpful at all. Their customer service is terrible. Please see the attached photo to see how little food I've got for $22.61 ($20.98 + 1.63 of tax). This price does NOT include the additional $3.15 of Uber Eats Service fee which the employer of Curry Out was trying to indicate boost up the price. See the attached photo to check out what I've got for the above-mentioned price. The rice visible in the photo didn't come with the delivery, I had to cook it myself.

What a hidden gem this place is! Masala Curry can accommodate EVERYONE in your party because they have offerings for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. As a vegan, it is sometimes difficult to find a place my husband and I can both eat well, one of us usually suffers from lack of options...but not anymore!

We visited today for my birthday lunch and were blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was! There was a very nice selection of tasty dishes in the buffet, and while I can't eat near enough to take advantage of an all you can eat buffet, I really enjoyed the fact that we could try SO many of their curries in one shot. Do you like naan? Their garlic naan is OUTSTANDING, best I've ever had.

My husband had only ever had Indian food once before, and he LOVED it (the Chicken Tikka Masala REALLY impressed him) and said this was our new favorite restaurant to visit on busy nights when there's no time to make dinner. YAY!! I love Indian food and am ecstatic to have found this unassuming little place.

Fast and nice service, as a matter of fact, I told the owner (?) Anoo it was our first time there and he went to the back and whipped me up a little treat of spiced potatoes that were not on the menu. Who does that?? I haven't been this thrilled with a restaurant and its customer service in years, maybe decades. Everything was SO fresh and SO delicious, and did I mention the garlic naan??? I can't wait to go back and eat there again. Thanks Anoo for an...

This was okay food for the price. I’ve had better Indian food for a lot less. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it- it was average. My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday night around 630 and we opted for the menu instead of the buffet since there were more vegan options on the actual menu. We ordered the Chana Masala, Aloo Gobi, Roti and the flavored rice (forgot the actual name). For me, the Chana Masala had a bit too much of the tomato flavor and gave it a sweet, ketchup taste- but I still put it down. The rice was very good and so was the roti and aloo gobi. If we come back then we’ll both get the buffet.

Getting to the inside- pretty modern atmosphere with good Indian music. Plenty of seating and great for families. It definitely has the vibe of a carry out restaurant, nothing too fancy on the inside.

Staff: extremely helpful and nice. They even took their time marking all of their vegan items on their menu for us, this was extremely helpful and made ordering so much easier. Staff checked on us several times for our needs and satisfaction- thank you very much!

Overall: I might come back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Would I recommend this to a friend? Possibly, but it wouldn’t be my first option for them. In my opinion, for this being a carry out type restaurant I think the price of the food should be cheaper. I would recommend ordering the buffet since the menu items will add up...
