Disclaimer: The low rating has nothing to do with the food, as I didn't even get to taste it. It has to do with my experience at the restaurant. I came in and placed my order with the cashier at front. While I was getting my money out, I sort of noticed a fly passing in front of me; I didn't think much at the time.
After I finished placing my order, I looked back at the seating area and I realize that there were flies all over the place, literally I counted about 20. To my surprise, the other people eating there seemed not to care much about it, just waving their hands to them every 15 seconds. I came back to the cashier and tell her to change my order to go instead because of the high number of flies flying around to what she just replied "OK, no problem"... What?? No concern with the flies at all!
As I stood waiting for my food, I noticed how the flies were coming back in forth from the kitchen area. At that moment I thought that the chances that my food will be contaminated were very high. At that very same moment I should've cancelled my order and ask for my money back, however, I don't know what happened to me that I missed the opportunity. I took my food (3 Tacos de Asada) to my car and the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to eat those tacos. Needless to say, they ended up straight in the trash can. While still in the restaurant, I tried looking over the wall separating the kitchen trying to find someone who looked like a manager or something but everybody was too busy in the back totally unmindful about the large number of flies owning the...
Read moreLately their overall experience is dwindling. I couldn’t help experience horrible flaws over and over just keep going back just brainwashed thinking I need to keep coming back in my mind anyway.
Before the virus the cashiers were always rude. I never experienced super duper friendly customer service. I do expect bad service to get the food I’ve liked so I’ve dealt with that because their birria tacos I can’t help to come back for. That’s it.
Their regular asada tacos were not memorable. All their salsas are really good. They should package and sell their salsa it overpowers the bad tacos and cover it with a lot of cilantro and onion available at their salsa bar.
I ordered their mexican pizza before dining in before the virus. Eating there you just have to be patient no matter what. You hope the wait is worth the wait. The pizza was okay all along.
Today sealed the deal. It just took the cake. I ordered a to-go pizza. I came on time. I took it home. It was cold. I asked for cilantro on the side and nothing. I didn’t get napkins. I hardly got any asada in it. And I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE.
I DO HAVE TO REPORT THAT THEIR GLASS ENTRANCE DOOR HANDLE IS FILTHY DIRTY. CMON.
All they have is blue x’s on the floor.
Im sure their owners are okay they treat customers and their food. No quality...

Meh: Parking It's a cozy place (about 4 tables)
So a friend of mine suggested Mr. Taco Nice (even though I've passed by it multiple times prior). She said i should get the MEXICAN PIZZA. And yes, i had the same thought as you're having right now; who gets pizza at a Mexican restaurant?
Well, i do now. And this pizza will blow you away. A totally new take on pizza. I've only had the El Gobernador pizza, but if it's this good, the other must be as good as well right?
Anyways I made a call to pick up a dinner order of personal size El Gobernador Mexican pizza ( about $14? If I remember correctly), 3 tacos de birria combo ($10.99), tacos de pescado ($3.49), tacos de pollo ($1.49), and carne asada burrito ($10). The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the tacos de pollo; they were a bit dry. Also, carne asada burrito because there were beans inside the burrito itself. (I'm not a big fan of beans).
The service here is spot on, everyone is super friendly. Location looks a little sketch, but the manager keeps the riff raff away. Not toddler or stroller friendly if you have them.
COME HERE....
