I am a little disappointed I didn't visit Noble Ale Works sooner. I recently came in with a friend a couple weeks ago on a mini brew hop. He mentioned Noble Ale and was very excited because this one of a few breweries which I needed to visit.
Noble stays open late, which is a plus. Fortunately, we arrived on time a little after 11pm on a Friday night. We missed the food at the previous brewery, and we just got the food truck who was packing up for the night. I didn't get the name of the food truck but the food was good. We both got two chicken bowls and then it was off inside to grab our brews.
The atmosphere of the brewery wasn't bad at all. There's two rooms, one with regular seating; bar stools, high chairs & tables, and table seating. The second room is more of standing room, but there are some seats available. Surprisingly, there wasn't a wait to grab a drink and it was cheap too. My friend & I ordered "Man's Milk" and "Mexican Lager" with both drinks coming out to $9. I had to check the receipt again wondering if I was only charged for one drink.
The bartender behind the counter was nice enough to spark a conversation and allow us to try the taste testers, ensuring we received the best beer for our tastes. He suggested a brown ale, which was delicious. I definitely will have that next time I'm there, if available. The growlers are also pretty cheap. I believe it was $10 for the growler and fill for the small. I look forward to my next visit at...

Whether you're a beer lover or otherwise, Noble Ale is definitely a place for everyone to visit. Located conveniently near Disneyland, Honda Center, and Angel Stadium, this place is a great spot for those who want to grab a drink without spending too much on a glass.
It was my first time coming here and finding the location is actually pretty difficult. It's tucked away inside a warehouse and if you didn't have the exact address to the brewery you really wouldn't be able to find it.
The ambiance in the brewery could be improved if their lights were dimmed a bit more. Because it's situated inside a warehouse it's got the appeal of one and personally I'd expect a little less lighting when I grab a beer. The dimmed lighting would make it an essential for those who are going on a casual date. It's a personal thing, so if lighting doesn't bother you then this place will do just fine.
Limited seating is available because it is a small brewery. You have seats at the bar and several stools around barrels that they use for tables.
I think it's great that they make their own beers here and that each one is so unique! I'm a big fan of chai tea so I ordered the "I believe I can chai" in a 12oz which cost about $6. It was great! Tasted just like chai tea with the adult elements added in ;)
I highly recommend this place and definitely plan on coming back to try their other...
Read moreI remember coming to Noble Aleworks back in the days when it was a just a small taproom and there were only the staple beers.
The taproom is twice the size, there is ample seating, parking is great, service is fast and the staff is very atuned, but they could work on the one bathroom they have.
The beers are a step up from from what I remember being served here the past couple of years. I think the variety is greater and Noble has ventured on more flavors.
Take for example, the Cinnamon Roast Crunch; Naughty Sauce with Saigon cinnamon swirls. 5.4% alcohol. A golden Milk Stout. Imagine drinking the the last bit of milk when done with a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch, except with smooth tasting beer. And yet another take on the naughty sauce. Bean BUMP (IMPERIAL NAUGHTY SAUCE). 12.7% alcohol. No need to say more. Just do it. My wife is a fan of IPA'S so she went with the Big Whig. A West coast IPA that tastes drinks fast with a smooth finish.
Like I said previously, i haven't been coming here lately, but i sure am going...
