Our experience here was very mixed. The staff is friendly and nice, but their hands are tied trying to fix any problem with neighbors. Our upstairs neighbors were constantly jumping causing our apartment to shake. Multiple times we asked them to do something about it, but they couldn't do anything, even after witnessing it. We ended up moving to the top floor to save our sanity.
The apartments themselves are starting to show their age and poor construction quality. The elevators are always broken; during COVID, one of them was off for over 4 months. They just don't take care of them. Panels are loose in another, and the flooring as cracked and damaged in all of them. They will only show you the main lobby elevators, which they programmed to be the fastest and the cleanest, make sure you see the other elevators before you sign the lease.
We had several roaches, a lot of it due to other residents leaving their trash by their doors instead of walking 30 feet to the chute. Neighbors with dogs would sometimes let them poo in the hallways and they don't pick them up. Even worse, the cleaning crew doesn't clean it up either.
Get ready for fire alarms galore. At one point we had them go off 3 times in one week during the middle of the night. Not a single apology by management, or notification if there was an actual issue. One time, there was an actual fire in an apartment. They only told us hours later to get out of the building. If you don't like running water, this is the place for you. Things are always broken so there is some kind of maintenance which requires the water to be off.
If you like smoking weed, come here. There is a no smoking policy at the building but people still smoke cigarettes and pot on their balcony. It was so bad, we had the smell of pot coming into our room every night. Even saw one guy hop on the elevator and smoke. Smelled like smoke for days in there. Management does nothing. instead of evicting people, they just post signs.
Parking is a huge issue here. Don't expect to have guests over, there are no parking spaces for them. There are guest spaces, but residents take them up all the time. How do I know? Its the same cars that are there day and night, they just move them around, for months. People park for long lengths illegally outside off the curbs, blocking traffic, but nothing seems to be done. We've had our friends park across near Starbucks and walk over.
Traffic is usually good, but if there is a game or event at the Grove be prepared. It can take a long time to get in the only resident entrance during those times. We knew that coming in, and location was one of the prime reasons we...
Read moreI have been living here for about several months now and I can say that I am content. However like every place there are pros and cons.
Pros- The staff is excellent. They are good at communicating, friendly, and organized ( for the most part). They also are pretty involved with the community which is nice if you want to meet new people. -They are dog friendly. Almost too friendly. -Maintenance orders are complete in a timely manner. -The location is pretty cool. You’re next to the Angel stadium, the Grove and some restaurants to get a quick bite. They also have some cool spots to hang out in the complex with views. rent is pretty fair pricing in my opinion.
-On site security.
-The apartments are pretty nice inside.
Cons- PARKING ( honestly a disaster). This place is only made for two residents to live in with cars if you have 3, I would consider looking elsewhere because there is no parking what so ever, & only 6 visitor parking spots in which are probably not even “visitors” majority of the time. We have to resort to parking off premise in which your car can be potentially towed.
Annoying dogs. If you have a dog that doesn’t bark or make noise like mine then get used to dogs barking a lot. The little ones are the most annoying, and there are some not so friendly dogs on premise.
-One way street. And random cars park on the side all the time leaving it congested. Especially on weekends.
Some Residents are careless with trash/food/and other garbage left on the sidewalks. My dog ate something when I wasn’t paying attention & got sick. The staff keeps up with it sometimes but most of the time it’s pretty nasty. Watch out for glass when walking your dog
-Trash Monday’s. Homeless people pick through the dumpsters every Monday picking through all of the trash leaving a mess. It’s not a big deal it’s just the leftovers they leave on the street.
Overall I left a 3 because of the parking and overall minor issues like trash, and residents dogs barking all the time. If this place can upgrade the parking for residents then this place is...
Read moreI absolutely love living at Stadium House. I've lived here for about three years now and the reasons why I continue to choose to live here are endless. Management and staff are not only welcoming and friendly, but they also are extremely on top of work orders and making sure that maintenance and work orders get completed. The maintenance team is also full of some of my favorite people. They not only do their jobs well, but they are very kind and welcoming as well.
The property can speak for itself that Stadium House offers a multitude of great amenities and offerings. Some of my favorite memories are here at Stadium House, and what makes coming home my favorite time of the day. A little while back we had our first event since the pandemic and it was so lovely seeing all of our neighbors. The community at Stadium House is also something that you can't find just anywhere. It's a huge blessing to be a part of.
Lastly, the staff and management do an exceptional job doing their very best to not only accommodate the needs of residents, but to also help them be happy coming home.
Living in Southern California the issue of parking will always be unavoidable. Everyone has a car and it's crowded everywhere you go. I honestly think our new parking policy will help mitigate those who try and take advantage of our guest parking spaces by digitally reserving the spots, and holding each other accountable by having it digitally recorded of whom reserved a spot and when it was used. Unfortunately, we can't always please everyone, but Stadium House does a phenomenal job thinking outside of the box with options that allows residents to choose what best fits their situation.
Overall, I love living at Stadium House and very proud to call it my home. Excited to see what else 2022...
