Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Anderson Township

I brought my family up to get ice cream on a nice Saturday but I will never be coming here again. We were there may 31st around 8 o clock and there were two guys and two girls working. In the 20 minutes we were waiting in line ( which I don’t mind at all, they were busy. we would have waited an hour, we had nothing else to do) they served two people and were extremely rude to both. The first one was a guy who walked away from the front to check on his daughters who were sitting in a booth in the back, the skinny blonde girl then came to where he was and immediately got mad that he walked away for 30 seconds, started throwing her hands around and then rudely yelled “smores” “smores!” At this guy. He came and got his ice cream and then she turned around, started talking bad about him to her co workers and shaking her head. The next customer was a very young couple that couldn’t have been older than 17 or 18. They were clearly anxious as they probably haven’t been on many dates, i don’t know but it was clear. One of the guys handed them a banana split which had pineapple on it. Mind you nowhere on the menu does it say it comes with pineapple it just has a low resolution picture of the banana split. The guy looks at the girl and says let’s just take it ( he was clearly anxious and didn’t want to say something) the girl then told him she was allergic to pineapple. He told the guy employee who turns around and tells the skinny brown haired girl. She loudly asked him in front of everyone if they had said that before or after they made the banana split. She then asks them why they can’t just take it off. The poor guy and girls face turned red and were so embarassed. We immediately left because we are not going to give our hard earned money to disrespectful, rude little punks. In 20 minutes they only served two people and this was how they treated both. We will not be back here again, ever. Side note - I have worked retail for the last 6 years, I have ran stores that do millions a year. I understand customer service and the stresses that come with it. What happened was unacceptable and clearly someone above them is letting this happen, or doesn’t care...

Obviously this place does not know how to make a banana split it's a slice of banana on each side with three scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce an whipped cream not pinapple I have never seen pinapple on a banana split that is discussing an nothing like the way KY or Tennessee makes it plus get a grip ppl this restaurant is a joke it's nasty an unstable for people if I could give zero...

Love their vanilla ice cream and the people here are very kind. This is one of the nicer DQs I have visited. I travelled here from Oakley for a large vanilla cone. It was worth it and it was a pleasant experience. The two ladies here are ALL BUSINESS - remember that when you interact with them. And I kinda got screwed on the set I g size of my vanilla cone.
