Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Anderson Township

It's hard enough for my husband and I to live in Anderson where we see very few people of color and to always hope we don't have to deal with racism or discrimination. When I brought my pizza back to Donatos because it was soggy and lukewarm by the time it was delivered, the gentleman didn't do much to account for the fact that I paid for delivery with an 18% tip to the driver and yet I had to come to the store anyway. He wasn't rude but he was not at all accomodating. I'm not one of those people that will curse somebody out for bad service but I wish I was. And I couldn't help but wonder if I was a white lady with a similar issue, would he have been just as accommodating. I doubt it. So I had to just sit there feeling helpless and upset because there was nothing I could do about his non-chalant attitude and the bad service that I unapologetically received. So to the black Anderson residents, I'm not saying this store is racist but just order with caution. Right now, I'm waiting at Mod for my pizza. I received excellent service. I should've came...

Placed an online order. The information said order will be ready for pickup at 621pm. My mother and I go to do the pickup and we're told the order was overlooked and not made yet. Had already paid for the $30.00+ order before anyone informed us that the order wasn't made yet. Waited another 40 minutes for the order to be made (this was on a Thursday night). Spoke to the "GM" and told there would be a $35.00 credit for a future order & they cant give a gift card. Just call or place an order in store...Well we called today and the man taking the order yelled at my elderly mother said its a 10.00 credit and just take it or leave it. She decided to place the order. Even after the terrible customer service. The pizza was burnt and the staff was rude when picking up the order. Highly recommend NOT going there. Very disappointed because the pizza is generally a good choice over other pizza...

We ordered two subs and cinnamon bread tonight for pick-up. Order was not ready when my husband arrived but he said the place was disgusting. Bad language, dirty, etc. When he brought the subs home and opened his (see photo of steak hoagie sub) it was a mess - he could only eat half of it - there was so much sauce on it it was disgusting to eat. Look at the photo on our order page then look at how his looked. He told me to throw the other half away which I did. Mine was the ham and cheese sub and it was OK - little messy but edible. Then we opened the cinnamon bread dessert and the photo attached shows what it looked like. My husband said he would NEVER go back...
