Visited the store yesterday, June 29, to order a plater of a dozen 4th of July cookies for my daughter's birthday which is on July 4th Was advised by the pleasant young woman behind the counter that they weren't able to take any more special orders for the 4th, but that they would have 4th of July cookies in the case available for purchase on Saturday which is their last day open prior to the holiday. I didn't understand the difference; if you're already making the cookies, why can't you just put aside a dozen for me? She admitted that she didn't understand the difference either and called for her supervisor to come speak with me. I've never met the supervisor before - the owner has always been very gracious & knows how to deal with the public. Not this battle axe. I explained that I understood that they were beyond their capacity for special orders but I was simply asking if they could set aside a dozen cookies that they were already preparing to put in their display case. Battle axe insisted that I would have to come back in on Saturday & take my chances to buy what's available in the supply case. I responded - no I don't have to do that because I'm taking my business to Bonbonhorie in Hyde Park! Since I have supported Inspiring Kind since they first opened & regularly patronized them when they had virtually NO customers, to be treated in such an unreasonable and ignorant manner is a disappointment. Their cookies are still delicious, but I'd prefer to patronize businesses with some modicum of manners and appreciation for...

She greeted us like she was disgusted that she had to talk to us and my kids are always SO excited to go to the “pink cookie place”. The cookies are good for what they are but with nasty customer service we will not be coming back. Please practice inspiring...
