Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Anderson Township

Ordered delivery and was given a quote time of 35-40 minutes which isn't an issue. When the hour mark of waiting hit, I decided to call and make sure there was not an issue with the order. I was told the order would be here in the next 3-5 minutes. Another 15 minutes go by and nothing. I finally get a call from someone saying the driver had an issue delivering because they could not get in to the building. I figured they would call when here as does most any delivery service. I say no problem, I'm heading down now. When I get to the driver he has an attitude and shifts the blame immediately saying he's been trying to call me. I told him that I've literally been holding my phone staring at the time. He says the store tried to call me several times too. I tell him I just got off the phone with them after their one attempt to reach me. He rolls his eyes and has me sign my receipt. Glad to have my pizza after and hour and fifteen minutes of waiting. On my most recent visit, I had to wait around because they messed up the order and had to remake it. Maybe I came in the middle of a shift change or something, but while I waited the extra 20 minutes for my remake... I witnessed many employees standing around and goofing off while the store was a mess with garbage on the floor!? .. needless to say I was very upset because in the first place I had to wait for their error on my order. (I understand mistakes happen) but when there are five people standing around doing nothing and your order has to be remade it is quite frustrating. The quality of the food was fair.. I have come to learn I'm not a big Jets Pizza fan (very very greasy!! Beyond normal pizza grease) and in my opinion it's very overpriced compared to other pizzas especially considering the quality. If you’d like to aspirate on plastic - I’d suggest Jett’s pizza beechmont. I had the pleasure of jamming my fingers into my throat to pull out a piece of heat resistant cellophane that was blocking my airway. The manager said “sorry dude” a bunch of times - which helped me feel better about my near death experience. She agreed it was best it was me - an adult - and not one of my 3 small children that could not breath. Her offer of refund definitely makes up for my wife almost becoming a single parent. I was in the food industry for 2 decades and realize that errors do happen but gross negligence is something else. Don’t worry the manager assured me no one that works there partakes in any drugs or alcohol - so their error was done whilst sober - which is honestly more concerning and a bit unlikely.
