Sunday's Restaurant — Restaurant in Anderson

The food is real home cooked southern style food. Portions are also very big. The only negative was the first lady as you walk in was very rude. I was so close to walking out she was so rude. I literally never been there before so she didn't explain anything or tell me what the meats were, and when I asked it was straight attitude. Like I was messing up her day for asking what kind of meat was what!!... Now with that being said everyone else was a joy. The recipe lady, the drink lady, the young man that took your money, all very polite. The first lady that does the meats she'll make you wanna walk...

Last Saturday my fiance and I got to go orders I got the baked spaghetti with candied yams and he got the fried chicken. That was the only thing I ate that day. Later that night I woke up sick to my stomach went to the doctor Monday morning she said it was food poisoning. I was sick for 4 days couldn't eat anything. I should've known something was up because it was loaded with grease at the bottom of the plate. I love this place when it first opened especially the custard pies I don't know what has happened. Not to mention the 2 older ladies that was making the plates...

My husband used to travel to Anderson about once a month for work. When he came home he would always rave about Sundays. Welll, he finally had the opportunity to bring me since we are on our way to NC. And I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, portions were big, and the staff was super friendly. When they found out we came all the way from Florida they even offered us dessert on the house (we chose banana pudding). 10/10 recommend. Can't wait for the opportunity...
