Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Andover

So it's 22 hours since I haven't heard back from the store manager nor the area manager Jeff Graham. Who might I add when you call his number says they thrive to please their customers 🤨His name was on the bottom of this receipt. I DoorDash and it was the evening of October 21st I got my meal to go. I had been quite busy that evening and did not get to my meal until later which was around midnight. I always pray for my food just for this very reason ...there was a hair in my soup, go figure, in the soup lol I got the grilled cheeseburger which was pretty tasty yet tasted better dipped in my tomato soup but to my surprise to find the hair it a ruined my entire meal. At the time of course the store was closed I couldn't leave a message so I reached out to the area manager's number at the bottom of the receipt. Called and left a message. Later in afternoon, I reached back out to the store manager of Applebee's in Andover yet she was very rude and wasn't even trying to hear it & said she wouldn't do anything until she heard from the area manager even after I said I had a receipt and pictures to prove it! Maybe she was having a bad day I get it , bad days happen. I then submitted a picture along with an email stating my case to the area manager, Jeff Graham. Again it's almost been 24 hours and I haven't heard from anyone and I want to let everyone know This is definitely why I eat local because since I've been eating local I have see nothing but greatness come from these local shops and restaurants. Horrible service, food was ok. Megan was our server and we found out her name by our check. When she walked up to the table she didn’t even great us, she literally just stood there. I started talking to her and gave our drink and appetizer order to her. She came back to get our order and came back to check on me if I was ready to get a cocktail and that was the end of the “good service” Had to ask for oriental sauce because it wasn’t on the tacos twice before I finally got it and not even from my server. I almost sent them back because I waited for so long to get the sauce I new our food would be out soon. Good thing it took over 30 minutes to make chicken tenders and Alfredo. I was then charged 50 cents for the sauce that the manager took off later. I had cups and plates stacked at the corner of the table and she never prebussed. She brought us our check & never asked if we wanted dessert even after my son already was talking to her about the dessert he was going to get when we placed our food order. She then brought us our check again before dessert was even out. Jessica the bartender saved us, she brought me my sauce, checked on us, took dishes, and took care of us better then our server. The manager never even came over to check on us knowing we were getting horrible service because i originally asked her for my sauce. She gave us a $4.51 discount on our check. Worst experience of my life. We went in with my husband and two other couples, where the men were all drinking but none of us women were. However, upon leaving the restaurant, standing in the parking lot talking a cop shows up. Apparently the server called the cops on us knowing that only the men were drinking. Even so, how does it give him the right to call the police? My husband had one drink, and the other two men had one and the last one a beer and a mixed drink. Not nearly enough to impair their driving, even though they weren't driving anyway. We drove 40 minutes out of our way to go there to eat that night, which ended up being a total waste of our time. We got harassed by the cop upon leaving, he literally followed me into another parking lot where I pulled in the turn around, following so closely that if I were to hit my breaks he would have hit me. I don't appreciate this at all and I know we will never go here again. They clearly work with the police to try and get people for DUI, however, as I stated all of us women were driving and not one of us had anything to drink. So it was a waste of their time. As far as how the food came out, it was not cooked to standard as I requested it and I wasn't even able to eat it. I ordered a well done hamburger and got it still pink on the inside.
