We visit Braum’s every single week to buy milk. The milk is great. However...
We have several food allergies in my family. Every time I go in, I ask them about food allergens.
Not once have they been able to tell me what’s in their food. Despite the fact they sell ice cream in cartons with ingredients, they can’t tell me at the counter.
Here are some of the responses I’ve gotten over the last few months:
“The soft serve has eggs.” “No it doesn’t. It has gluten.” “No it doesn’t. All of our food has gluten.” “Uhhh...can you come inside?” No. “We don’t know then. We think it doesn’t”.
There are times in life when it is not ok to just “think” something is ok or not. Food allergies is one of those.
Last time we went was the final straw. I asked a manager for the allergen ingredient chart. The response was a blank stare and a clueless manager telling me they don’t have one and they don’t know what’s in the food.
Next step: I called corporate. They were somewhat more competent but admitted they don’t have a food allergen or nutrition chart for their food.
Then the “customer service” representative got really snippy with me when I asked her if that was illegal.
So stay away if you have any food allergies or intolerance because no one at Braums has any idea what’s in the food...
Read moreTonight, I was going thru the drive thru, waited awhile to give my order, then got it. But that's not my issue. Since the road beside Braums was totally changed because of the apt building going in beyond Braums, & it took away the 2nd exit from Braums, & slicing off a good portion of Braums parking lot also. As a result people wanting the drive thru are causing congestion lining up in the drive area of the parking spaces. I believe this is going to cause less business for Braums, & maybe some fender benders, cause pulling out of a parking space, you end up in drive thru area until you can exit on the only exit there is by the drive thru. Please put another exit back in the parking lot onto that side street or there is going to be more congestion, & accidents trying to exit Braums in the future!!! Read moreIf it were possible to leave less than 1 star for service, I definitely would. Service is notoriously slow at this location. Tonight, after waiting for over 30 minutes at the drive thru, ordering and paying, we pulled up to the pick up window to be informed they were out of EVERY. SINGLE. THING. we ordered. They offered substitutions, and then were out of some of those items as well. Summer is here, and you’re one of the few options in Andover for ice cream. Stock your business appropriately so this isn’t an ongoing issue. Staff was rude when I asked for a refund due to not being able to get any of the items we wanted.
