My partner took me here a few months back for both our first times and we were blown away then and then we picked up a pizza to go once between then and now and we just got our minds and stomachs blown again. (Around 5pm on 12/07/24) This place is the real deal right in the middle of "say what you will about the place, it is what it is" Andrews NC. When you open the huge yet smoothly swinging hard wood door to the place you are transported from small town USA to a quaint little restaurant in the Italian countryside. We ordered the pan crust with pepperoni this time because they didn't have any Sicialian crust left. Boy was that a warm stroke of fate as it is now our favorite. It is better than the Sicilian but is cut into larger pieces instead of smaller square ones. So if you have a large party order the Sicilian but if it is just a few of you and you are hungry as a buzzard during a snowstorm choose the pan. The photos will explain it all so there is no need for me to embellish. It should be obvious to anyone who views them that this is the best pizzeria in the tri state area. It is in fact one of the best I have ever visited and I used to travel for a living and have lived in several major US cities. Our server Esteban (pictured here) was a gentleman and very professional. I would also like to add that when I first sat down I felt that the light hanging above our corner booth was too bright for me as my eyes were a bit sensitive this morning so I unscrewed the bulb and then one waiter who was very tall and muscular came and asked what was wrong and it made me a bit nervous but then a second later someone came back to our table and replaced the bulb with a softer one and that made me realize that (even tho I had dug myself a bit deeper into the doghouse with my dining partner) the tall gentleman was just being nice and that everyone here is very professional and really flexes to give proper customer service. On our way out I shook the hand of the tall, well built gentleman whose name is Said. He is very nice. Our hostess Riley was very sweet too. The whole staff deserves a raise. This place truly is a local treasure. Maybe soon we will even try ordering something besides pizza!

First of all I must commend them on their refreshingly clean restroom. The service was good. The menu looked good. There is no lunch menu. I had the meatball sandwich with sweet potato fries and tiramisu. The sandwich was mediocre. The fries were ok, not very flavorful. The tiramisu was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. It was served to me frozen. There were an excessive amount of lady fingers, making it dry. It certainly was not the light and fluffy dessert that we’re most familiar with. It was constructed with a layer of plain lady fingers on the bottom and sides, then a layer of coffee flavored mascarpone, then another layer of lady fingers, then a layer of plain sweetened mascarpone and cocoa powder. Because there were several items on the menu that looked good, and the service and restroom was so good, I will return and order different dishes. I’ll report back. I recently tried their lasagna and their house salad with the house dressing. The lasagna was OK but had no Italian seasoning. The salad dressing tasted like oil only and the salad was average. The staff was nice and the bathroom was still very clean.

It was my first time going here on 08/24/2024 The staff was nice and attentive the energy in the restaurant was good the staff seem to enjoy their job and really professional the food was amazing got the Sicilian pizza and it was amazing the crust was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside felt like I was in Italy when eating the pizza made with love and fresh ingredients and the bacon ranch fries was delicious and the sweet tea is perfect definitely will come back because this service is 10 out 10,food is 10 out of 10, and the atmosphere is 10 out of 10 Update went here today(12-07-2024)- the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the staff was really professional and nice and attentive and the pan crust pizza is amazing crispy crust on the bottom but nice and fluffy on the inside and the cheese and pepperoni was spot on and the garlic bread was the best garlic bread I had in forever everything was made from scratch (not frozen) and you can taste the love they put in the food highly recommend this place if you have a pizza craving

Andrews may be a beautiful small town but it is also currently blessed with many options for delicious pizza. With the recent addition of Mariolino's those options have increased.

The staff is helpful and friendly and they were attentive to our to go order which we had placed over the phone. When we placed our order we didn't know it was shortly before they were closing on a Sunday night but they didn't hesitate to take our order.

When we showed up at the restaurant it was 5 minutes before they closed yet the entire staff smiled and welcomed us in, asking if we would like a table and how many were in our party. At first they didn't realize we were the folks who had placed the to go order and it was obvious they would have happily had us sit down, place an order, and dine-in regardless of the fact that it was closing time.

We drove home with a fantastic pizza AND we felt like the folks who made our food did so happily and with love. That kindness, customer-centric service and high quality pizza is what prompted this review. We had a super awesome experience.

Another huge bonus is that Mariolino's has wisely opted to be the only place for pizza (and authentic Italian food) in Andrews that's open 7 days a week.

Friendly people, delicious pizza, predictable 7 day schedule.

Highly...

First off I want to say i completely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner if you are passing through! Me and my father were traveling to The Tail of The Dragon with a group of friends from Florida and we had decided to go to Mariolinos instead of the Mexican restaurant down the street. And man I will tell you I was not expecting to have such high quality, super tasty and soul filling food up here in this small town! The wait time was near zero since it wasn't as busy when Me and my dad went in, the server was very responsive and kind, and the food we ordered was mind-blowingly good! I had ordered the Chicken Alfredo with mushrooms and I could not believe how good it was! The one thing you should always look for in an alfredo sauce is if it starts to separate after a while as you eat, and man.. it DID NOT separate at all!! The sauce clinged to the noodles perfectly, it was so flavorful and creamy, and the portion size was insanely generous! I basically was limping out because of how much food I had eaten in such a short amount of time! It was so good that I had to ask my dad for us to stop by again on the way down back to Florida! I will definitely make an effort to come back here when I pass through...
