Corner Grill — Restaurant in Angier

I will NEVER eat at this place again! I went in today and I ordered a hamburger and fries. A woman came around the corner with tissue in hand and blowed her nose in it and wiped it, put that same tissue on the counter and proceeded to make my hamburger! no gloves no sanitizer no nothing! right in front of me as if I was not even there! I tried to cancel my order, but was told it was already made. I had to throw my hamburger in the trash that is unbelievably nasty and if they do that in front of customers, I can’t imagine what they do behind Closed doors! Very nasty very unsanitary place! It really should be shut down. Never again will...

This place always seems to be busy. So, you know it's good! Their burgers are handmade. They're like mom made. Their fries are the best anywhere. Big crinkle fries. The steam the buns, the cheese is melted all over the patty and dripping off the edges. The quality condiments are always fresh and good. I wish I could go there for supper. They close at 2pm. So, don't miss out, go early. I wish I had some pictures to share but I always eat my food as quickly as I get it. The Grilled Ham N Cheese was great too. This looks like one of those places that only take cash, but they actually take credit cards too, so don't worry! I love how unpretentious this place is. No fluff no frills no nonsense kind of vibe. You'd be kinda have to be picky to look something to complain about this place. The menu and price is honest. My new fav place to eat something to be get through the day. This prob isn't the place to take a date if you want to show off. Seems like this is where the locals hide, away from the college chaos and out of state...
