Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Angier

I will give a two star rating simply out of respect. I have always loved going there and enjoyed the friendly service. However, today was not a good day. I ordered the meaty marinara pasta and asked for extra sauce because they rarely ever put enough sauce. Can you believe, they said they could not do that? Mind you, I prefaced my request with an "I don't mind paying extra. " They still said no. So, I literally stopped into the restaurant to speak with Manager, because surely the person on the phone was confused. Guess what! He said the exact same nonsense. They could not add extra sauce because they had to follow a strict recipe. WHAT!!!! THEY ASK ME EVERYTIME I ORDER A PIZZA IF I WANT EXTRA CHEESE OR TOPPINGS ETC. So, how can they not give me one extra scoop of sauce? Were they being serious? Who does not provider service to a customer when they offer to pay for it? Were they in a bad mood.. I am so confused.. Just went in to pay for my order that costed 35$ before tax. I put it in for carry out online but I was met with an associate at the counter who said he could not accept my form of payment. I had 100$ bill that is a valid form of currency, they didn’t have any policy postage stating that any bills over a certain amount would not be accepted at this location. They refused my cash and canceled my order due to me telling them I couldn’t go break it that if I left to I wasn’t coming back in to waste more money on gas. Poor service, manager/Melanie (didn’t have a name tag, I had to ask for her name) got upset when I asked her why it wasn’t possible to pay with cash that’s accepted on the door. Also she did state that she normally does accept cash if she has change for it. I placed an order around 10:00 pm for breadsticks. A simple order. I left specific instructions for the order to be left at the front door. When the driver arrived we were never notified. After texting the driver and asking was the order delivered we received a text back stating they had been knocking. We restated that we had left notes asking for it to be left at the door. The text received from door dash stated if no one answered the door the food would be left in a safe place.
