The variety of foods and fruits and vegetables they offer for making Mexican Cuisine is plentful.. I enjoy stopping here for certain things like oranges and fruits... Also if you want to get meats that cook quickly, they slice they're fresh meats thinker for quick cooking... Helps to prepare a meal after work really easy... The only thing I don't really like is sometimes things are not priced thereby making it a hard decision whether to purchase at this store or wait till I find a better price... It is very friendly and most of the time there is someone to help take your groceries to the car .. it is a quick easy trip if I am going to the Dollar General which is in the same Shopping Center.. the last visit I purchased a candied fruit Package.. that caught my eye for the holidays because the whole fruit or slices of it was what you purchased and then you could slice it at home and have it as a nibble with the fruit in the same shape as it was grown, like a kiwi that was peeled and preserved whole... As well as slices of pineapple.. it was very sweet but you are only serving as a small treat on occasion perhaps and the preparation of the fruit is amazingly beautiful which would thereby create a wonderment as to how this process left the fruit so beautiful... I imagine there will be many comments about it .when I serve it.. love new ideas. Only $3 for a small package of mixed candied fruits.....

This is hands down one of the best grocery stores in the area! From the moment you walk into Compare Foods Angier, you’re welcomed with such kindness, it’s clear the staff truly cares. The store has an amazing selection of products, from authentic Mexican to Asian cuisine, and it’s always easy to find what I’m looking for.

But the highlight for me is the staff and the Manager (Carlos) they are absolutely incredible! Always present, friendly, and genuinely making sure every customer feels seen and taken care of. You can tell they set the tone for the whole team. Their energy is contagious and makes the shopping experience 100x better.

Highly recommend this place for both the variety and the amazing service. A true...

I went to the Angier store and I have never felt so uncomfortable going food shopping. I could see the looks and the sneers from the employees. A latino supermarket that is unwelcoming to other latinos. Why, because I look white? Never thought I would see something like this. Will NEVER go to the Angier store again. I would rather travel more miles and go to the Compare in Apex, or the International Foods in Garner. Much friendlier environment and much...
