My 2 orders were messed up every which way. Missing items, no onions I paid extra for, sauces charged they did not have. I ordered 61 and some change in food on one order alone as a celebration after my sons band concert. After receiving my items I noticed we were missing a bacon quarter pounder with cheese, 3 cookies, no onions on either mcrib and sauces on the 2nd order. I went back to the front and waited to be helped. Alyssa approached me and I told her about all of it. She ignored me 4 times about the bacon quarter pounder and gave me other sauces. She took my mcribs to the back and came back with them and informed me they were out of onions. I said ok thats fine but I paid extra and I was still missing a sandwich. She ignored the sandwich again and got another employee to refund me for the extra onions I paid for that they didn't have. This is all on camera. Now it gets crazy. I informed another employee that Alyssa kept ignoring me about the missing sandwich. She advised the kitchen. My daughter came up and said we did not get the BBQ sauce we ordered. I told Alyssa who was in front of me who said "you didn't order BBQ sauce" I had my receipt in my hand and tried to show her and refused to look. Another employee walked by and I asked her while showing her my receipt "does that say 2 bbq?" She said "yes" Alyssa then got loud and said you ordered sweet and spicy jam. I said I did not and again tried to show her. Everything happened fast after that and she threatened to slap me and came towards me. She also snatched my receipt from me and would not return it. She was yelling and all kinds of stuff. I stayed calm the entire time. Other employees gave her her things and were having her leave but after going towards the kitchen she turned around and tried to come at me again and other employees had to stop her. The manager was called to the front and I was explaining to her I would like to talk to the GM. She advised she could not give their number. I said ok and asked their name and when they would be in next and I'd come by then. The manager went to the back to find out. My husband came up upset bc he saw what Alyssa had done. And brought out food up and asked for a refund. As the manager was coming back up they finally had my missing sandwich completed but I advised them my husband now wanted a refund. We never did get our cookies either. The manager refunded us and had spoken to a different GM and handed me her GMs number and said her phone was off. I apologized profusely and explained that I did not understand why Alyssa chose to act the way she did. This has caused me great anxiety and I never got to eat a single bite of anything nor did most...
Read moreThe young man at the front counter provided prompt, professional & courteous service. Unfortunately this was a poor dining experience. Must constructively suggest that food standards and presentation needs to be far more carefully monitored. My Big Mac came boxed, however, a portion of the top bun equivalent to a bite was missing. This should not have been served, Ever. My original order of French Fries were limp and soggy, undercooked and at room temperature. The Manager promptly accommodated my request for a new Bug Mac, however, without apology, in fact indicating that this happened sometimes, the buns get crumbly. My new Big Mac was also room temperature and, obviously, hastily made. All the sauce and lettuce centered in the middle and only one pickle.
Quality standards, food appearance and temperature must be consistent in all McDonald’s Restaurants. A Big Mac should look, taste and be cooked/heated the same. There is a huge difference in the quality and appearance of the Angleton store’s food when compared to nearby (West Columbia & Freeport) stores. These are not bad people at all here. They are friendly, sociable and appear quite happy with their employment. However, as a 30+ year “veteran” in various locations and assorted levels of employment (including upper management) in the food service industry I very strongly recommend corporate intervention and training. What a great time to begin anew now that the dining...
Read moreWent to get lunch today for myself and my friend. I ordered the $2.50 meal of a double cheeseburger and a small fry, and a double fish sandwich with no cheese and a large ice tea, cut half and half. This McDonald's wasn't busy at all and got my order mixed up 3 times. Instead of the double fish, they gave me a double burger, I returned it back at the window and they still gave me the wrong sandwich. I parked and walked in to let them know that my order was still wrong. They did the same thing, then gave me a double fish with cheese and I told them 3 times, a double fish with no cheese. They still got it wrong. I asked them how can they get an order wrong so many times when they're not busy. And the last double fish they gave me still had cheese on it. I was so upset and I swear I'll never order a fish sandwich again, I rather go to Dairy queen where they serve a good fish sandwich, or whataburger and Arby's. They all have good fish sandwiches. My friend wanted something from McDonald's, and what a bad mistake. A few weeks ago, they had no pancakes, and I forgot how good whataburger pancakes are. So that's where I'll go for now on. McDonald's need to do better, also the fries are cold and if people don't eat them while they're hot, they taste really bad. The other places French fries keep...
