What took this from a 4 to a 5 star was the locals that bought me this drink and the own shaking my hand with true pride as I left the establishment. The girl on the phone when I ordered my to go, was nice enough. She could use a little more enthusiasm but meh, the second call (I couldn’t figure out what I wanted for me), she remembered me, offered to call me when it was done and helped me figure out what to order. I have celiacs and IBS and this limited my options on food and I get over whelmed at times. When I got my chicken breasts they were delicious. The sauce, BlackBerry BBQ was so good, the chicken was nicely cooked and tender! Just perfect. Also good fries and coleslaw! I sat at the bar top for a minute and the to-gostess brought it up to me! The bartender was a little sassy, but it’s clear she is good at her job based on the reactions I watched from many different types of people around her bar. The drink she made (secret recipe i was told), was similar to what I call a “Tank Bomb”, If you read this review to this point, show her the picture I posted and get yourself one, if she’s there. I saw the owner walking around, checking on people, being present with a genuine look of pride. When leaving I asked him if he was the manager and Ken said he owned it and I told him how much I enjoyed my short expierence before I even tried any food. Good service is getting hard to come by and pride is not what it once was, so I ask you to support this establishment that is locally owned!

Visited 1/2/22 2:30 pm. Saw good reviews so I decided to try this place out. Hostess was very nice when we walked in. Before ordering, experienced terrible service, waitress was very passive aggressive and unhelpful, as well as the menus being filthy and extensively used even though they were just paper menus. I ordered a frozen margarita and fried pickle SPEARS (pictures shown), as well as a Diet Coke, and the Angola burger. Margarita was instead on the rocks, and the fried pickle spears turned out to be fried pickle chips, which wasn’t a huge deal, just not what I ordered. Although they were mislabeled, the fried pickles did taste fairly good. After the burger came, I was disappointed in the amount of bacon (picture shown) and disappointed about the fact that the beef was completely unseasoned, these two things caused the burger to taste extraordinarily bland. Fries did taste great though! Diet Coke tasted rotten for lack of better term, don’t know if it was the water or something else. On top of all of this there was a high pitched noise that may have been coming from one of the TVs but I’m uncertain. Waitress didn’t come to get us refills or check on us once, then started counting tip as soon as she started walking away from our table at the end. Overall a 1 star experience if the fries and fried pickles didn’t taste good.

We stopped in to grab a bite and watch some of the NFL playoff game that was on today.(approx 430-5) I must say, we were blown away! We were greeted by a Friendly hostess who asked our table or booth preference, ordered some of their wings and famous “Fireballs”with a side of fries. ALL of it tasted really good! Prob some of the best fries we’ve ever had! The wings were really flavorful too and lots sauce flavors to choose from. Service was great and I believe the owner even stopped by our table to check on us and see how everything was going! They have 50 TVs in the place so there’s not a bad seat in the house AND they’re kid friendly! Appears to be veteran owned or has veteran ties as well. Glad to see another local place to eat with great food and service! Restaurant was very clean as well! Keep up the great work Jed’s, we’ll be back!! (Disclaimer: the high chair pictured is our personal one. Photo is to show they’re kid friendly)

My husband ordered wings, we did not realize that they were breaded so they were not good at all. They looked like mini fried chicken legs and were mostly greasy fried breading chunks. They were served to him lukewarm. You can tell that they come frozen from Gordon's Food Service and they just throw them in the deep fryer. They charge $2 extra for wings without the gross breading on it we found out afterwards.

I ordered the ribeye that you cook on the stone, it came with a side and the description said a little bit of their coleslaw. They weren't joking, it was about a tablespoon worth of shredded cabbage sitting in a watery dressing and it had zero flavor. My steak was really thin, I've seen better quality steaks at Walmart. I was asked if I wanted the mushrooms and onions, thinking it came with it I said yes. They were $2 extra I found out afterwards, which wasn't worth it really. They serve the steak with a fake liquid butter and it tastes like fake butter. I ordered fries as my side and it was the best part of the meal sadly.

Our server was nice, no complaints there.

But the food is not worth it at all as the quality is not there. They need better wings, better coleslaw, better cuts of steak....just better food overall honestly. Save your money and go somewhere else because you'll leave disappointed if...
